Riley Creek has 150 sites, including RV & tent camping. Savage River Campground has 33 sites for RVs & tents. Cost for both campgrounds is $28/night for the larger pull-through sites/$22/night for smaller back-in for RVs & tents, unless you have a Senior Pass, then it is half price for ages 62+. Showers are available only at Riley Creek for...

I was originally booked to camp at Wonder Lake but owing to falling sick on my flight to Alaska, I decided not to risk a five hour bumpy bus ride to that campground and was grateful that Aramark allowed me to change my reservation to Riley Creek instead. I attended ranger presentations both nights and found them to be very...

Nice big spots, mostly in the open, but still nice. Flush toilets. Near mercantile and shuttle bus. Trails around the camp. Most sites seemed level. Nice check in. Pay showers near by. I would stay again if in the area

We arrived into Denali NP and checked in at the Mercantile Store. I had made our campground reservations many months before our trip. Check in was easy and we were told to pick any site and to attach our name and dates of camping on the post.We were also able to get our boarding passes for the shuttle buses here....

New facilities and a peaceful atmosphere made this park very enjoyable. We originally booked one night, but decided to stay another. The RV spots were easy to get into and having the choice of spots was fun. Easy walking trails.

Campground is convenient for amenities, catching the Park bus and taking short walks around. Even though it was rainy, we loved the site. Mother and baby moose walked around sniffing the RVs, and although the locals will say this is dangerous, with a little caution you can really enjoy the close up view. I did, for over an hour! They're...

This is a campground, not a luxury resort, and it fit that just fine. The spots were a little uneven, but workable, with a good selection. We spent 2 nights and found it quite comfortable and quiet . The trees do provide good separation, and they had people who do monitor , and keep guests in-line, the generator hours are...

From some of the reviews, we had expected to be in a carpark with RVs lined up like soldiers, so close that doors might bump. It is not like that at all!! The National Park has created bush screens where possible to create a sense of privacy and individual dining/ bbq areas for each site. It is busy and fairly...

We had reservations at Savage River, but because of the bear closure we switched our reservation to Riley Creek. The sites were ok, and the facilities were fine. It was convenient to have the mercantile nearby. However, because of the proximity to the front of the park you can hear constant road noise throughout the night. I could have lived...

There are several campgrounds at Denali NP so deciding which to stay at can be confusing. Riley is closest to the front of the park and therefore close to the Visitor's Center, the transportation center, the cafe and store, the showers, and many hiking trails. We were quite pleased with this location for most of our stay at Denali NP....
