We stayed in one of the cabins with a bathroom/shower on a cold night in Glacier. We chose this because it was the most reasonably priced lodging within the park. The cabin was warm all night and we enjoyed having a private shower after a long day of hiking. The room was very clean. We made the mistake of depending...

Clean, comfortable room. The people were nice. The location was good. We could walk to the restaurant and the store. There were several hikes, lakes and waterfalls within walking distance. There were several people there in front of the main building with telescopes watching Grizzly bears on the mountainside.

Best for trail heads right at your door, in the quiet woods. Park the car and dont use it until you leave. Simple hotel rooms. Cabins are adorable in wagon train circles. Ice berg lake, and Swiftcurrent trails are at our door, but others access from main parking lot. A good night sleep in a quiet spot. Some internet service...

We stayed in one of the two-year-old cabins and it was far better than we had expected. The baseboard heaters were excellent, as was the new shower and toilet. It is pricey--$162 a night--but you are right in the middle of the best part of Glacier National Park. Both the nights we were there, other guests set up telescopes outside...

The Swiftcurrent is the most affordably priced lodging inside the park. We stayed in one of the motor inn units which were built 60+ years ago and described as "rustic." It was a relatively small room with an updated bathroom. It was cozy, clean, and comfortable. There are also individual cabins (with or without bath) that are even less expensive....

This is a gorgeous area, with excellent hiking opportunities. I felt lucky to get a cabin at a busy time with cold, rainy weather, when staying in a tent would have been a little miserable. Our cabin shared the central bathroom with many others, which is the key drawback to this place. I'd bump the rating up to 4 or...

There is only one thing to do with this mess: demolish it and lease the property to a real hotel company to build a decent facility on this wonderful parcel of land. The hotel is dirty, dilapidated, and poorly run while consuming one of the nicest bits of real estate in the world with lovely mountain views on all sides...

Surprising clean accommodations within walking distance of lots of trails, Nell's restaurant and general store. Negatives: no tv, no room wifi (office area only) no fridge, no a/c. Most GNP rooms do not have these amenities either. These rooms do have fans and heaters, which do come in handy later in the season especially early morning. Staff is business like...

The road to the Swiftcurrent is one of the most uneven and bumpy roads we've driven on, so take it slow and watch for the cows on the road. The hotel is your basic park hotel - there are no frills here. There is no telephone and no TV but there is a hairdryer and a coffee maker in the...

Swiftcurrent Motor Inn & Cabins was very much like national park lodging. Half of our party stayed in a cabin and the other half in a separate motel from the main area. Both were very small. We had 3 in the motel-type room...there were two double beds with about a foot in between. In the cabin, there was a separate...
