This part of grand canyon is less touristy than the one on the south rim. The campground is spacious and have ample distance between campaites, also it is really close to trail at the rim, only 5 minutes walking. The lower the umber the closer you are to the premium site. You can stargazing at night at the campground or...

If you are the camping type this is the place! Be aware that there are no hookups here, but drinking water is available in the campground. The restrooms and grounds are clean! There is a tents only area although you can tent in any of the camp sites. A general store, laundry, pay showers and gas are available nearby. And...

I drove cross country the old fashioned way, and reserved 2 nights in the campground as a bucket list adventure for the Grand Canyon. I had a blast. One night I was a little creeped out because I heard footsteps outside the tent. In the morning I found multiple elk prints from my evening visitor! Beware the campground ravens, they...

Can't beat the price. The bathrooms were very clean. My site, unfortunately, was right across from the bathrooms, which have the air dryers. Aside from that, it's a good campground. At the campground is the general store, as well as laundry and showers. Both were very clean, and there's an attendant on duty to ensure they stay clean. The CG...

This is a NPS park campground so you can expect the rules are different than private campsites. First the price! Unbelievably low cost! The rules are severe! All your wheels must be on the pavement or you will be asked to move at whatever hour they discover you in violation! There are no services at all and even no cellular...

This was our third visit to the North Rim, and it will not be our last. We like the cooler temperature than the south, the forest environment, and the smaller crowds. On this trip we took our two ten year old grandchildren, and planned our activities focusing on them. We did the 2 hour mule ride with Canyon rides. Our...

One of the best camping spots in National Park system. If you are tent camping, make sure to get in the tent only section. Much quieter there. Book exactly 6 months in advance. They go fast. Go in June during a week when moon is not up - Google to see what week it is. Astronomy clubs bring in large...

We stayed at the campground for the first time in June (made reservations 6 months earlier) and had two adjacent campsites with another couple. The campground is treed, the sites are nicely spaced so you aren't right on top of other campers (especially on the outer loop). It was very quiet, clean and we had a great stay. The bathrooms...

We were only ablet to book one night here (booked a second night at the nearby DeMotte State Park) but we wish we could have stayed longer. We loved the big trees, the spaciousness of the sites and peaceful feel of this campground. It was great having access to laundry services and the store was well stocked. We enjoyed taking...

The North Rim is a super place..we were first in Yosemite and Sequoia and I can guarantee it was the cleanest and most comfortable campground. First of all you have a store...so no problem to buy what you need for some days there...don't stop some miles before at the street...it's much expensive and there is poor choice. You have showers,...
