We booked a package trip to the Grand Canyon which included a train ride from Williams, AZ. To the Grand Canyon with an overnight stay at the Maswik Lodge and return trip to Williams, AZ. It was well worth the cost. We had a great time. The facilities at both places were excellent, the food at the dining lodges was...

If you're like me and wear flip flops in a motel room, you might appreciate this review; if you're like the rest of my family and flop on motel bedspreads with nary a care, you'll just roll your eyes. I wore my flip flops inside our Maswik Lodge room. The carpet looked tired and worn. I slept with only the...

We stayed at Maswik as part of the Grand Canyon Railway package. We weren't given a choice of hotels or rooms but obviously had one of the better rooms with two queen beds a desk and two chairs. It was a one story building but it was a short walk to the main room and food. The food is described...

This was my first visit to the Grand Canyon. I took the Grand Canyon Train from Williams, AZ and stayed the night in the park at this ldoge. PROS: The lodge is near the canyon-- within a good 10 minute walk. It is also on the route for the free shuttle bus that goes throughout the Grand Canyon park. The...

We did the cheaper option at the Lodge.... something like $96. There are two sets of buildings with rates almost double at the more expensive, which looked more modern and have more amenities. But we were not here for luxury! Our room perfectly met our needs. Coffee and teas plus refrigerator. A table and a desk. Plenty of room to...

We spent two nights at the lodge. We were able to walk to the rim but the park has excellent bus routes that are color coded. The cafeteria offered a variety of food. The room was clean and comfortable for a national park. It would be nice to have Wi-Fi in the rooms.

We loved being close to the rim and being able to walk back and forth easily. The food options are fine, but pricey (to be expected). Pizza is good but service needs some system improvements in how they operate the place. Beds were comfy and room was clean, but it was noisy on the bottom floor with people walking around...

We spent three nights in the Maswik Lodge, which was a very good base for a few days at the Grand Canyon. We stayed in a two-queen room in one of the north buildings. The beds were a little stiff and the walls were paper thin. We could hear every footstep from the room above us. Other than those minor...

We stayed here for 2 nights while walking to the bottom of the canyon. We stayed in a hotel room. The room was convenient to the shuttle to the top of the kaibab trail. The cafe was ok. It was an easy walk to the canyon rim. The room was dark but clean. The bed was comfy . There was...

Maswik lodge is about one block from the rim, there are other lodges on the rim though. Clean and comfortable room, nice place to stay. Cafeteria is good place to eat but they can get busy in peak season. There are few options for meals in Grand Canyon village. Very good bus service in the village. Hiking the rim trail...
