I am very surprised to see all of the negative comments. Yea it's a little outdated and could use a bigger bar area but who comes to the Grand Canyon to sit in the room the whole time? We went in May and not having AC was not an issue as we had the heat on most of the time....

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

We are a family of five and most of our bookings have been one room for us and another for our kids. This time I decided to book the Yavapai East Double Queen family room as it looked perfect. For a moderate price the accommodation was excellent, breakfast was included for all of us - more than we could finish...

Close to everything - shops, buses, elks and deer, bank. Rooms are in small buildings spread out campus style among the trees with a laundry nearby if you are on a long trip or didn't bring too many clothes. Only downside is WIFI only works at the hotel reception building and at night is very slow. Staff are friendly and...

We booked this hotel online through T.Advisor bexause we only had onw afternoin and next morning before movibg on. We paid top price to stay right on the canyon, from a logistics prospective was great, but we were not impressed at all about the room. We were a 3 family group, so we rented 3 rooms and they were almost...

Stayed here while visiting the park, they had a lounge with a cafeteria and a general store near where you check in. Room was simple, but had everything we needed. Husband travels often for work so we see a variety of hotels, I would definitely stay here again, was perfect for the stay as we didnt spend much time in...

Very convenient and well worth the extra bucks to stay right in the park. Just a short stroll from our unit to a Village Bus stop with links to everywhere in the park so no need to drive, find parking, etc. The buildings are old but very well kept up and single story so nobody above. We had no problems...

Stayed here for a night during an escorted tour. Nearly hotel standard, just a little bit more basic. 2 double beds more than adequate for our needs and slept really well. One benefit from staying in the Park is that you see elk all round the lodges - just don't get too close to them! But the main benefit is...

I stayed here for 2 nights. The rooms are very basic and offer a coffee pot and hot shower. There are 2 parts: east and west. The newly upgraded cost more, but I am not sure if the value reflects the changes. It is a easy walk to catch the shuttle to explore the park and a short distance from...

I just returned from a one night stay at Yavapai Lodge. My first choice was one of the park lodges located over looking the grand canyon - but they were all booked so Yavapai was the only choice in the park. It is convenient. There is a shuttle bus right outside the main entrance which will take you in 10...

Chose Yavapai west because we really wanted to stay in the park for a reasonable price. I was pleased. The west lodges have ceiling fans but no air conditioning. This was just fine for May. You park in lot B to check in and then drive to your building. Parking is right outside the rooms. Close to drive to Yavapai...
