Had a wonderful visit to the Guadalupe Mountains & Dog Canyon! Wanted to share some info for those looking to plan it out. There are RV parking spots and 9 tent spots, they TEND to have space there all the time. There is solid WiFi at the ranger station if you absolutely need it. We visited in early November and...

Only stayed one night because all spots at Pine Spring were full. I felt it was well worth the drive. Campground had only two other spots occupied. Very quiet and secluded. Nice for enjoying the stars!

We have been to Dog Canyon in Oct, May and Jan and all seasons are great! If there is snow in winter, the deer are in the campground evenings and early mornings. It has a restroom that is heated in the winter. Otherwise it is primitve. It is a nice quiet place to enjoy for those who really love camping....
