The views from the lodge are spectacular as one watches wildlife in and around the lagoon with mountains and glacier in the (not-s-distant) background. The accommodations are fantastic as is the staff - everyone was great. And they have numerous activities for all levels of (active) individuals. The location is incredibly remote - it takes a few hours by boat...

Thank you so much for your helpful feedback. Although we do our best to offer a wide array of guided activities each day, for varying ability levels, sometimes weather and tidal patterns can limit options. We appreciate you choosing Alaska Wildland Adventures and Kenai Fjords Glacier Lodge for your coastal Alaska adventure!

This lodge is a beautiful spot. The food was quite amazing thanks to a great chef. We had the best blueberry ice cream I ever tasted. Every dish was scrumptious. We loved the canoeing and building stone towers with the beach rocks. The camp fired was a real plus too. Znd we also did some hiking up the mountain. It...

I have had the opportunity to stay at the Glaicer Lodge twice now in the last 5 years. Each time was filled with wonder, nature, awe, fun and relaxation. Lodge is first class, the cabins are deluxe with to die for views of Pederson Glacier, staff is energetic, upbeat, personable, food is excellent, activities offered are perfect. Pick from kayaking...

We were going to the lodge for three nights and our first two nights were canceled by the lodge due to wind as they said that the boat could not go safely. Apparently it happens quite frequently that they have to cancel the lodge due to weather. We had planned our trip around this lodge experience. They did not call...

We understand the reviewer’s disappointment in that inclement weather disrupted her original lodge stay. Contrary to the reviewer’s claims, it doesn’t happen that often, and when it does it is a reminder of the flexibility and understanding that is sometimes required of adventure travelers visiting wild and remote locations in Alaska and other unique corners of the world. While we...

My husband and I decided to splurge for our 1 year anniversary and babymoon and stayed at Kenai Fjords Glacier Lodge for 3 nights. We had a truly great time. It's pricier than most places we tend to stay at, but we felt what you get in return is completely worth it. Starting from our wildlife cruise out to the...

We (2 adults, 2 children ages 12 and 15) spent 3 nights at Kenai Fjords Glacier Lodge at the end of August.. We had chosen this to complement our 4 nights stay in Denali as we wanted to see sea life, glaciers and do kayaking. Note that on your arrival day, the boat departs from Seward around 10 AM, so...

We love hosting families and are happy you were able to enjoy varied activities during your stay. Although our boat service to the lodge typically departs the Seward harbor around 10 a.m., some trip dates have a 8 a.m. departure; the departure time of individual guest stays is dependent on many variables, and our Reservations team will alert travelers of...

We spent 2 nights the second week of August. We would loved to have been able to stay longer but there was no availability when we booked. It was absolutely unforgettable and we would love to return. Thanks for coming back out to the lodge to revisit; we've been honing our approaches and activities at the lodge since the summer of 2009, while still aiming to maintain the smaller scale status. We try to manage the incoming/outgoing flow of visitors to ensure quality, personalized experiences on the boat trips and guided activities. Meal times in the main...
