Fantastic campsite to visit to by near to all the excellent trails. Friendly staff and lots of great hikes from the campsite. Proper camping, no showers, but flushing toilets - camp fires and close to nature.

Sites are rustic & some are challenging to get campers into. We had site 6C, a pull-through, so our pop-up camper had plenty of room. Make reservations if you have a camper so you can get a pull-through site. Campgrounds were full during the week...More

Reservations are made at the recreation.gov website. Go to to the site and search for Cougar Rock Campground. Availability as well as details on each camp site are provided.
