All good. The place is conveniently located and is close to various tourist destinations. It is fantastic at night when you can see all the stars. People are really friendly. Close to the visitor center, store and restaurant. You cant go wrong

We enjoyed staying in these small, rustic cabins. They are older and need some improvements, but clean and we had a bathroom in ours and a picnic table outside. I'd recommend packing food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Options are very limited and they are doing a renovation this summer and I think they will only have one place to...

John Muir Lodge is nice for a night when the weather is a bit cold for camping! The room was clean, beds are OK- a little too firm for me. Nice porch to relax and hear nature around you. Also the lobby has a beautiful fireplace to sit near and relax as well, with WiFi!

I took my family of four for two nights during Spring break. The accommodations are small but well located within a mile hike of General Grant tree etc. The restaurant is the only reason I gave just 4 stars. It is understaffed and has marginal food.

The place is quaint and has all the basics including electricity and indoor plumbing but no television. You have access to the lodge community area to play games, build puzzles as you sit around a fire at night. Our family loved the place and really enjoyed the ambiance and was much better than camping but still had that outdoorsy feel!

The rustic room overlooking the sequoias was great...and the lodge has puzzles and a huge fire place. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The walk to the restaurant is doable and fun for the little guy in our group. He made a snowman on the way.

John Muir Lodge has a fantastic lobby with fireplace and sitting area. You can even order smores and snacks to be delivered to you fireside in the lobby! Outside are porches with swings and rockers to relax and enjoy the view. Wonderful! We were here a few years back and this visit the food in the restaurant has dramatically improved......

Situated just inside Kings Canyon with easy access to Sequoias National Park and many of the main stopping points within easy driving distance. Close proximity to Lodge, Visitors Center, Restaurant and Gift Shop. Cozy and quaint and a great price!

We stayed at John Muir Lodge and room was clean, relatively quiet. Dining room service was slow and food was mediocre but servers were friendly. Highlight was renting snow shoes (after they ran out of x/c skiis) and snow shoeing to see the magnificent sequoias in the area. Would definitely visit again in the summer time and opt to camp...

Cabins are awesome... Restaurant not worth the time or money. Pack a picnic lunch or quick breakfast in the hotel room. Lots of great information at the visitors center to help with your trip in the park. Can't wait to come back!
