My sister in law and her family were camping here. No hook ups, can't run the generator, has water in the middle of campground. So….very basic camping but has nice pads, can tent camp, and can walk to the river. The Lodgepole visitor center is within walking distance and that is where the pay showers are. There are toilets in...

Lodgepole campground is my favorite place to stay when visiting Sequoia National Park. Kaweah river flows through the campground, there is a visitors center, gift shop, restaurant, and mini store close by. They also have laundry and showers. (Showers are $1 for 3 minutes). There are flush toilets and water available as well. Very shady spots! Also, a BEAR made...

We camped at Lodgepole....totally AWESOME!...we took a hike, saw bears, they weren't a problem, we all just waited for them to pass! we hiked to the end of the trail to be greeted by a beautiful waterfall! The Park Rangers were very nice and informative....I want to go back!

Lodgepole Campground is situated directly along the river in a truly beautiful landscape! Every space has it's own picnic table and fireplace. There are flush toilets nearby and if you want to buy some food, shower or laundry you can do all of it in the visitor centre. A lovely place to stay while you are in Sequoia National Park!

My second time here. The best part about this campground is that you don't have to rough it. You are at walking distance to basic amenities: showers, groceries, restaurants. It is at 6700 feet, so it gets quite cold at night and especially early in the morning. The temperature dropped to the high 30s in June. Prepare accordingly.

We love to camp here. It is convenient with the store, showers, and even laundry if you are staying for a long time. Sites are nice, maintained and good sized. Has a few really nice hiking trails in back of campground. We try to make it out here every year.

This is a great campsite in the heart of Sequoia. The lot was level with plenty of room for relaxing and enjoying the views. It's a short walk from the info center, store, restaurants and shuttles that take you around the park. We would definitely stay there again.

My second time here. My favorite camground of Seq. You are up about 8,000 feet- so it canbe 60 degrees up there and 101 down at three rivers. The trees I miss! Incredible views! Campgrounds 50-130's are the best spots. Most likely ai will be back this year.

I was driving solo through the area with no overnight reservation. A lot of the park was closed due to a fire in the area and I was looking for a place to grab a bite. There was two snack bar type places inside the market at Lodgepole and I got a reasonably priced Salmon burger and ate it outside...

We booked a campsite almost 6 mos. in advance. We arrived late Tues. night Sept 8 (one day after Memorial Day) & saw 4 gray fox on the way up the mountain. The 3 of us pitched the tent after stowing all the food & supplies inside the bear box. The next afternoon, we walked over to take showers &...
