Lodge was very clean and nice looking. Rooms are a good size. Loved that there was a fridge in the room. If there is a loud talker in the room next to you, you will hear them. Front desk people were nice. I wanted to pay cash for the room but I needed to have exact cash. That to me...

We stayed at the main lodge for a couple of nights and all was fine except the wifi was intermittent. We were told it was because of the building works going on there - lots more lodges being built. Not a major issue overall. The restaurant however was another matter. We were told that they were closing fairly soon so...

Didn't stay in the lodge BUT in stayed in the cabins that they rent out and control. Cabins were really nice and just depends which ones you are in. Desk clerks are really nice but they rotate and Joanna seems to not understand her job behind the desk. She needs better training.

This is a small rustic lodge in a very nice setting. Rooms are a nice size, nothing fancy. Check-in was easy for our group and Glenn at the front desk was so helpful. He really does know everything about the area and happy to share information and answer any questions you have on the park. Also showed us his pine...

Now starting to age but still a comfortable place to stay amidst some of the most spectacular scenery. Staff was limited but friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable, nice hot water. Mule deer wandered by the porch one evening. It's not luxury but it is what we wanted.

The lodge was comfortable enough for a weekend, also the cleaning of the rooms was not the best. The location is far from the attractions at Sequoia national park. The restaurant was just ok. Its the basic for the weekend

After a long ride, we were welcomed for the night by a friendly desk clerk and settled in before dinner. The room was large and comfortable. Could not get the Warrior game on the tv channels offered. The weather held for the 2 days in the park, so we were lucky again. The lobby had no tv but did have...

The staff was very friendly, and the main lodge was clean and appeared to have recently been renovated. Beware of the hot water if you have children - it is very, very hot! Beds had very firm mattresses and thin pillows, but there are four per bed, so you can make it work. There was a nice, big fireplace in...

The patios were gorgeous on this property. Set back in the national forest, it was incredibly quiet here. The room was average at best (bathroom was years beyond needing a remodel.) BRING a cooler with your own food. The restaurant has far too few servers with a minimal menu and less than average food quality. Make sure to spend time...

You don't have a lot of choice in lodging when visiting Kings Canyon or Sequoia, but they could still try a little harder to make your stay enjoyable. The rooms are actually fairly decent, but that's it. You'd expect a fire in the lobby fireplace, but none. The lobby internet connection was horrible, cutting out regularly. The food available at...

Thanks for reviewing us Bill P. What you say about the internet is true - it is not great. Due to our remote location, our WiFi connection is provided by satellite and therefore can be spotty and slow. We're sorry to hear about your poor experience at Grant's Grove restaurant and appreciate you taking the time to let us know,...
