You don't have a lot of choice in lodging when visiting Kings Canyon or Sequoia, but they could still try a little harder to make your stay enjoyable. The rooms are actually fairly decent, but that's it. You'd expect a fire in the lobby fireplace,...More

The staff was very nice, the reception cozy. The rooms were old and in need of renovation. Somewhat clean but the bedspreads were visibly disgusting and the blanket a bit gross. We stayed at the lodge. The cabins looked dreadful, but I did not take...More

I stayed in the main building. There are single cabins you can stay in that are more secluded. The main lodge is nice there's a large area that always seemed to have a fire going and nice comfy chairs and couches. There's some communal games...More

Ernie: I had a similar experience and found the cabins outdated and disgusting. We had read the reviews and when Dan C. (Manager) promised to start checking rooms himself, we figured this would improve. Apparently, Dan is too busy writing letters to actually check the rooms. It is a true shame that after the incident at Yosemite that NPS opted to keep Delaware North in the Parks at all. According to one of the managers, Bart V., most of the mgt. here is from the old crew that lost the Yosemite business, so dont get your expectations up!

Cosmo: glad your room was good. we had a cabin and were not as happy. perhaps the hotel is better but with the temporary food court in hotel lobby, we opted for a private cabin.

Hello, I am sorry but no we do not allow pets in our rooms. The camp grounds would be the only place here in the National Park. Thank you for your inquiry.
