Stayed in a ground level room that had a small sitting area outside in front of the room. Inside sitting area was very tiny. The room was very small but we got a good nights sleep. It just wasn't quite up to what we expected for the price..., but then this is the only lodging (except camping) for 30 miles... More

Although this place is now closed for the season - we stay a couple days ago - it is a great choice and out of all the crowds. Location is great with some walking paths around it. Close to some great hiking too. Like most of these parks around here, internet not so great.

At the bottom of the canyon but well worth the drive down. Beautiful scenery. Decided to buy food from store rather than from snack bar and there was a good selection of things to buy. Room clean and comfortable,

This is the only place to stay at the end of the canyon road that isn't a tent. The lodging was adequate. It contains a nice store and snack bar that provides breakfast, lunch and dinner at a reasonable price. If you plan to take advantage of all the trails in the canyon, this beats driving in and out each... More

For sure the lodge is dated (70s or 80s?) and rooms not pristine but the location can't be beat. It's the only indoor place to stay in the valley so there's no choice. It is dusty since people come back from their hikes all dusty. It can be noisy. You can hear your neighbors bumping around and talking. Be careful... More

The best place to stay in Kings Canyon & Sequoia NP !! This place has a nice store and reasonably priced restaurant. This place is all about the location...with the Kings River flowing right beside the lodge, guests can simply sit in the patio and listen to the river the entire night.

The rooms were sparse but clean. Only complaint was that we had to hold the flush the whole time until the bowl emptied. Excellent views. Good food. Staff was very helpful. Night programs were exceptionally good.

While visiting Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park, we spent a night at the Cedar Grove Lodge. It is the only game in town since the main part of Kings Canyon is very remote and not close to anything else. The lodge is on the second floor of a two story rustic building and while the room was nothing fancy,... More

What makes this place is the staff, they friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the stunning area they are in. This place is as remote as it gets.. it's a good 1 hour drive from the big trees, but quiet walks with a running river make this so relaxing it's worth it. Visit Hume lake for a swim to cool down... This place is a terrific bargain to stay inside the park. Convenient location to Zumwalt Meadow and wonderful to be next to a river. Snack bar meals were reasonably priced and all the employees helpful. Hope to stay there again.
