My husband and I stayed here for a 3-day weekend in the fall. Our campsite had a great view of beautiful sunsets. The campground did not have electricity during our stay, which was only a problem in the restrooms at night. The staff said it...More

Had a great time at Loft Mountain Campground. The view from the amplitheater was stunning and there was access to the AT close to our site. Bathrooms and the camp store were modern and clean. Only downside was our campsite was without a tent pad....More

Yes, the best sites are the walk up sites. If you are arriving on Sunday afternoon, you shouldn’t have any problem getting a site. The earlier you are there the better the selection.

Sorry we did not go in April, we went in September. Weather has been very unpredictable, cold and dreary one day, hot another day. At night it can be quite cool.
