The name “Zion” means a place of peace and refuge. As a sanctuary with over 146,000 acres of cliffs, canyons, diverse plant and animal life, and uninterrupted beauty, Zion is well-named. Its massive sandstone walls, some as high as 3,800 feet, offer an opportunity for serenity and reflection for all who visit—and Zion Lodge offers the only in-park lodging inside this hiker’s paradise. Enjoy a selection of comfortable and spacious accommodations, a year-round restaurant serving local favorites and a wide variety of ways to keep you entertained during your stay in Zion National Park.

The lodge is in canyon and near the shuttle . Parking is plentiful. We stayed in the cabins which were great. Very quiet and secluded but nothing fancy we had two sinks and one shower which worked well. The internet is non existent and you will have to walk to the lobby for

Be aware that what you gain in quaintness you lose in soundproof and amenities. The Internet is sporadic and slow, the bathroom is sparse in countertop. The heater in the bathroom didn’t work. Lighting is low. But the front porch of each room is lovely. Wild turkeys walked the

Of course the location is great, but Xanterra, which is the company that manages these historic properties, doesn't do a good job. I have now stayed at 4 of there locations (Grand Canyon El Tovar, Bryce, and Yellowstone Snow Lodge being the others), and I can tell you this is

We were on our way home to Iowa and called on the chance they would have a room for a one night stay and they did! We had a cabin. The room was very spacious. Two double beds, a desk and chair, and a gas fireplace which was a perfect touch to an already perfect cabin. The

I stayed four nights in one of the cabins and it was very special. The cabins are really peaceful, well maintained, and provide the perfect setting for some quiet time. The fireplace is also a nice touch. I was in one of the front cabins so my view was directly facing the

Sorry, the room I stayed in was a single queen. There was a coffee pot and fridge in the room and the bathroom was stocked with basic toiletries. Call the front desk about check in/out times

is there somewhere we can get something to eat on a night without pre booking?
If you stay overnight at the zion lodge, its restaurant is the only place open in the evening. The lodge, its restaurant, the cabins, a small gift shop, and a cafe type eatery (which is not open late) are the only buildings in the valley. Daytime you can pick up sandwiches to put in your room fridge for evening. The restaurant was not packed when we were there, because the only people there in the evening are those sleeping in the cabins or lodge. If you are not staying over night, you have to leave by around 7pm because the trams stop running and daytripper cars are not allowed in.

Hi there, I do not know, but the Zion shuttle goes into Springdale, the closest town to the park. From there, perhaps one of the local hotels has a shuttle or there is airport shuttle service from town that your daughter can take. Check out airport services from Springdale and see if you can put together an itinerary from there. There are not any other services within the park by design. Good luck.
