We had a great time here. We were at a walk in site but our car was only about 50
Feet from the site. All the sites have built
In food bins to keep your stuff and fire pits. Bathrooms were really nice and close...More
It is so nice to have campground options inside such an amazing National Park. We stayed int he D loop (tent only) and really liked the location. For cooler temperatures, the surrounding trees do block some of the great canyon views, but I'm sure the...More
We stayed in the walk-in tent sites for three nights. The sites were well spaced so that you didn't feel like you were on top of your neighbors, even though they were clearly visible. Sites were large enough to comfortably accommodate two smaller tents or...More
We stayed here in our small travel trailer for 3 nights in September. I really liked this campground. It’s next to impossible to find a National Park campground with electric sites so that was a nice bonus. Our site was B 61. A good sized...More
Nice campground for the many, many people camping. Easy to get shut out without a reservation. Sites are close but the surroundings make it worth it. Be advised that Zion is a crowded park. The NPS seems to be dong the best they can but...More

HI, we were in a tent site only, but I can tell you R-means River site and HC is handicap. Here is some info that might be helpfulper the Recreation.gov Watchman website- Standard electric sites in A-Loop may be used for either tent or RV camping. However, only RVs are permitted to occupy sites in the B-Loop. There are no full-hookup campsites. Electric sites are all 30 amp, with only a handful of sites that supply 50 amp; a dump station with potable water is available at the entrance to the campground.
Better book soon, the sites go fast. Hope it helps.
I can't remember exactly how early but it was at least 3 months. Not sure about walk ins but you could get lucky. We left a day early and they were glad we told them so they could give it to someone else.
