One of our best camping experiences ever. We tent camped 3-nights. Everything was so well-maintained around the campground. Spectacular views, clean restrooms, paved road, good attention by the staff to regularly patrol the campground. Flush toilets and very nice dish cleaning station in the bathhouses....More

This is the campground you'd expect at a very busy national park. The sites are large and shaded by trees. The bathrooms are adequate and clean. The staff is friendly. There are no hookups. The price is reasonable. The visitor center and museum are withing...More

We just stayed there in the past three weeks, and check-in time is noon. We didn't check-in until 3pm so don't worry they won't give away your site, many people arrive in the evenings anyway. Just FYI, check-out is at 11am.

Rec.gov, exactly 7am their time. That is when they release the new open sites the. Not 7:01, but 7am on the dot. They go quick. Good luck. It is worth it.
