the literal worst. bubbly walls because they painted over the mold in the bedroom. uncovered mold all over the bathroom. TERRIBLE smell of sewage that made us go buy masks at the 7/11 nearby. gagged when walked into bathroom. had to brush teeth in the bedroom with a cup for spit because I was gagging too much in the bathroom....

Stayed only 1 night as part of an organised tour. Room was damp, mould in bathroom, and not very clean. Definite itch in the morning. Electrics did not inspire confidence with wires trailing or sockets that were loose in the wall. Breakfast was by way of voucher for a place just up the hill but that was just as bad....

Two nights, two rooms. We certainly didn't stay anywhere else here so I can't compare it to other hotels in Zhongzheng (what is commonly called Alishan). Both rooms were average size. Cleanliness was certainly not up to par. Bathroom in my room still had multiple water puddles. I love a firm mattress but these are hard and not comfortable. Much...

We spent a night at Ho Fong villa and we cannot recommend this hotel. Expensive, small room with low ceiling, and a tiny window. No space to put luggage, nowhere to sit, or even stand. Tiny bathroom with no daylight. Not very clean, particularly under the beds. No kettle - hot water has to be picked up from outside. No...

Ho Fong villa is a subsidiary of Gao Shan Qing hotel, which is just next door. To check in/out, you have to do it at the reception at Gao Shan Qing. Overall, it is a pretty basic accomodation for your one or two night stay at Alishan, so do not expect luxurious facilities. However, i would consider it to be...

We arrived Alishan by public transport. From Chiayi HSR Station, there is a mini-bus direct to Alishan which costed us NTD255 each & took 2.5 hours to get there. Ho Fong Villa is a small hotel nested among a whole lot of other accommodations which formed the bulk of Jhongseng Village in Alishan township. The room was small & facilities...

My friend and I decided to stay in Alishan for one night while we were on vacation in Taiwan. We were looking for a place to stay and came across Ho Fong Villa Hotel. When we arrived there at 2:00 p.m., there was no one at the counter and we finally found out that the counter was next door at...

We paid $2200 for this room and it hada sauna in it. Downsides was that they turned the power off in the day which meant that we had no heating (but could use the Sauna!!) in the Winter. Bed was great, internet was good. Service was basic
