The Old George is located in a small charming village in the middle of beautiful countryside with a stone church that dates back hundreds of years. Our hosts couldn't have been more gracious and our stay was truly enjoyable. The room was good sized and comfortable. The breakfasts were excellently prepared and presented and each one had a local touch...

A warm welcome from Charles and Christina. We stayed overnight on Tuesday 16th April. A beautifully appointed bedroom with a magnificent shower. The bed was queen size as we have at home, and so comfortable. Although an old coaching inn and right on the road, it is in a small village and was very quiet. No traffic noise to awaken...

this is a quaint little hotel full of character and very comfortable, Charles & Christina made us feel very welcome and made a wonderful breakfast. Make sure you ask christina for some of her homemade banana bread or blueberry muffins 😋😋😋 well worth the stay . We also had a very nice steak in the pub opposite the George .

We had a last minute half term break here. Charles and Christina were delightful and their home really comfortable with properly English interior design and comfortable beds. Nice bathrooms with decent shower and nice organic shower gel which was thoughtful. We loved the breakfasts which included Christina's home made muffins which were a revelation! Surely she should be on Bake...

The bedroom and bathroom were exquisite as well as both clean and smart. A very relaxing stay. The breakfasts were wonderfully cooked with great ingredients and with fresh baked [delicious] muffins too! Its...

We stayed for a two night break in this beautiful house, our room was at the front overlooking The Square. The decor throughout is immaculate and calming. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the toiletries were of a good quality as were the tea and coffee supplied in the room. The breakfasts were delicious, with a bonus of home made blueberry...

My wife and I are just back from another lovely stay at The Old George in Broadwindsor, Dorset. 5 star hospitality as usual, delicious home cooked breakfast including homemade jams and marmalades and home made banana fruit loaf ! All served in Charles and Christina's beautiful dining room along with a copy of the mornings paper to peruse. Quiet, and...

We have just returned from a 2 night stay and were very pleased with the quality and decor of our room. We were even more pleased (and surprised) to be offered home made scones, jam and biscuits on arrival! The breakfasts were also excellent. Broadwindsor is only a short distance from the coast and its many attractions, and is a...
