The new management Al Wesal Hotel is very good, kind, caring. Feels like home a very good place to visit. You must visit this hotel on your way to Wahiba sands or when you play your desert trips. They also have restaurant which offers good food.

its a good place to stay overnight and for lunch the next day. Its always my spot for visiting before going to the al Areesh camp. It has good food. It also has an interesting view when you enter the hotel, it has a pond and a small waterfall. I advise you to visit.

It didn't look too bad from the outside and the patio with the little pond gave the place some charm, but when we entered our room and looked around, we were...

Basic en-suite accommodation at a reasonable price. Breakfast is unvaried (we were there 3 nights) and the dinner...

Rooms are rather basic, but clean with a good working aircon. Meal was so/so. We stayed in this resthouse to make an afternoon tour in the desert (Wahiba Sands) and to visit the very interesting women souq in Ibra the next (Wednesday)morning. The service of the rude receptionists was very poor. We almost missed the desert tour which was reserved...

The sands form a backdrop to the village of Mintarib which you can drive to on a sealed road also the resthouse will arrange for trips into the desert from the Al Areesh camp although when we booked...
