On arrival at the cottage the description of location & view were quite different. The river was behind a fence at the back of a gravelled area. The only access was round the back of the building. There was no view at all from the cottage which was disappointing. The welcome was nice, the cottage was comfortable, the surrounding area...

Wonderfully clean, cosy and well appointed room, and true and generous hospitality from the proprietors. Set in a wooded glen by a salmon run river whose rushing water lulled me to sleep. Very easy hop from the road. Room to stretch your legs in back field above the river. Replete, delicious and carefully cooked breakfast.

Two night stay as doing a Motorcycle Scotland tour. Made to feel really welcome, room clean and comfy, ample and good choice of breakfast, and the optional evening meal - quality food at a good price. Thanks for a really pleasant stay.

Only stayed overnight on my way from the north of scotland. Evening meal was amazing as was the breakfast. Very quiet but very close to the m74 so a handy stop off.
