We just needed somewhere to lay our head for the night and this hotel was fine. My husband has stayed here before on previous business trips. We couldn't book online and just turned up. Luckily they had 1 room left! We ate elsewhere but came back here for a nightcap. The room was compact but clean. We had a buffet... More

Just North of Orleans and very convenient for an overnight stop. Rooms small, food (the buffet) rather indifferent but decent breakfast. I would neither seek to stay again or actively avoid if others not available. That is what average is.

Typical motel by the side of a highway. Tiny, sparsely furnished rooms and eccentric bathrooms (the translucent toilet seat with fish swimming in it). Restaurant/buffet was fine, typical of its type. Staff were very helpful and friendly, possibly the highlight of the property. Right beside a windmill and with a kiddie playground, all that was missing was miniature golf -... More

For somewhere cheap and clean this hotel was ok. Food is also cheap and plentiful but the quality is not great. Hotel seems to be used by working guys passing through or maybe working at the local sugar refinery whilst on shutdown. I was visiting somewhere local early next day so options were limited, but this is ok. If you... More

I caught sight of the hotel after searching for hours to get around the flooding in the Orléans area. I flew to CDG direct from San Francisco, rented a car, and started heading south to eventually reach Toulouse. The A10 was closed and everyone had to exit onto A11. With the jet-lag and fatigue I soon became lost. Along the... More

Stayed at this hotel with my wife & 2 golden retrievers on our trip to southern Spain The hotel itself is close to the main motorway, so easy enough to find after a long day driving, there is amble parking & plenty of open space to walk the dogs, the checkin process was very easy, room was clean and spacious. A very basic hotel so don't expect frills. Only one plug point for example but ideal for us as a family of five with young children. We able to stay in the same room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is dog friendly and there was a very good and safe play area. The restaurant was a surprise... More

Convenient location for a stop over. The rooms are basic but quite comfortable. The bathroom would be greatly improved by having a proper shower rather than a hand shower in the bath. Staff are friendly and there is a choice of restaurants as there is a Courtepaille next door, There is a restaurant in Artenay itself too. The buffet meal... More

The staff here is very hospitable, and most are English speaking. One can tell it is very much intended to be accommodating to families as it has some playground equipment and other things for kids to. Restaurant serves good food, though the offering for breakfast is the same each morning. No variety. Internet is fast and reliable. Rooms are quiet,... More

Selected this hotel due to its convenient location during our trip back from the south of France. Checking in was relatively easy and the staff were friendly but the room was a big let down given the cost. A decent size bathroom but no shower, only a hand shower unit in the bath which was not convenient to use. Fixtures... More
