New experience in Sappada. We enjoyed a spectacular day with views of one of the most envied panoramas in the world. We were welcomed with the usual Sappada hospitality and were able to enjoy a breakfast buffet of homemade delicacies to start the day in the best possible way. Truly a great experience.

We were on our trip around the alps to drive in funny roads. One night we approached Sappada, and saw this hotel and asked for rooms. They were available and so we decided to sleep over there.
Even in the evening the meeting of the staff was very friendly. Even though the wonderful old land lady did not speak any English, we came along nicely.
The rooms themselves where not the greatest of fine hotelry, but clean and adequate. Certainly normal for this region in my experience for driving around the Alps since 2007.
BUT the real surprise was in the morning. We came down for breakfast the land lady had made the most wonderful spread of home made bread, bakery and coffee and yoghurt and everything. All the time bringing more and more... And it was all so good I felt like eating more even after I was totally full!
And after the breakfast the hotel manager recommended good routes for us to drive in the Dolomites. While checking out the hotel manager even gave us a cd-rom of the history of the valley.
This is a hotel I would gladly come back to and I hope that they keep their wonderful attitude towards their customers. If I am ever in Sappada again, I will stay here!
This was the best hotel during our 10 day trip around the Alps.

We just returned home from our ski vacation in Sappada and I really feel like writing a review of this wonderful place where we were accommodated for a week.
We-2 family with 5 kids altogether- enjoyed each minute of our stay in this family run hotel. The owners are so very friendly, pay attention to each detail, cared of our well-being so much, that we would go back to this place any time we would be in Sappada again!
We had family rooms- a separated bedroom with a double bed and a bigger living room with a table, sofa and also a double bed. The rooms are nice and clean, have all the utilities, which are necessary (hairdrier, shampoo, soaps, shower gel..), lots of cupboarsd and such a beautiful view! From the balconies you can see Cima Sappada, the ski slopes and mountains all around-covered with snow!
We had halfboard, which was unbelivable! We could not resist all the delicious dishes we were served every day- we could hardly move afterwards! The breakfast buffet has everything one would wish in the morning (hot croissants, home made marmalade, yogurt, muesli, fruit juices, cakes, ham, cheese, etc.), extra great was the coffee, which was made fresh :-) For dinner you have a menu every day with starters (lovely pastas, which was more than enough itself!), main dishes (chicken, beef, fish) and for desserts some home made sweets, fruit or ice cream (the kids loved it).
This way we would like to say Herzlichen Dank!! once again to the whole family in Bellavista, that you made our vacation so beautiful in Sappada!
