Lying in a splendidly quiet location, with a panoramic view on the alpine woods and Piave river valley, it is nonetheless not far from Sappada town centre: with a pleasant, few minutes walk you can get there.During the winter, you are right on the ski runs – Nordic Ski Stadium, Sappada 2000 and Pian dei Nidi chair lifts – and just steps from free skibus and light rail stops to and from Nevelandia snow park.In summer, you are surrounded by flowered meadows, next to the pinewood (100 metres) with mini golf and children's playground, riding stables and fitness course. We also have a heated open air pool (8x15 metres long, 1.50 to 2.50 metres deep), with infant area (0.50 metres deep), encircled by a rock garden and close to an equipped solarium with deck chairs and sun umbrellas.

..for the third season in a row we are back and we continue to find ourselves very well, ...gosh!! It is a small hotel at the entrance of Sappada near the ski lifts but equipped with all comforts (including sauna and small spa) and with a large square near the main street for car parking. The 5 of us are comfortable and well located in this almost homely atmosphere, run by the Piller family. The dining room is not spacious but well organized and well located, the food is simple but always great and good variety and on request the encore is always available at no extra price. There is the possibility to have an aperitif or a digestive in the relaxation room or on the veranda overlooking the valley. Equipped with ski room in the basement accessible directly from the outside. For a relaxing weekend, during the day you have fun on the slopes while from dusk you rest in the sauna .... why change?

Let's start from the positive notes: good structure and cozy rooms, standard breakfast (although not at the level of raw materials that the territory offers), good level dinner. The hotel offers an excellent location both logistically and panoramically.
We consider instead unsuitable for a four-star hotel and for how the structure looks on its site the level of hospitality towards children: the games room is very small with outdated and broken / not working games, there has never been the presence of an entertainer at the times defined by the structure and finally the small dining room inevitably makes the management of small children difficult. In general we sometimes had the feeling that a family with two small girls (3 years one and 4 months the other) was unwelcome.
I conclude with a note on the final bill, where everything was in line with the expected expenses but considering the total amount for a week's stay, we would not have expected to be charged some insignificant expenses, such as 2 euros for a small milk briquette.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. It is very clean, centrally located and comfortable.
Rosa is a true gem who goes above and beyond making you feel welcomed and is very helpful. The swimming pool and sauna/hot tub were wonderful.
The breakfast has several options and does not disappoint.
I cannot say enough about this hotel or Rosa.
We fell in love with Sappada.
Thank you Rosa. You are one of a kind.

I have stayed at a number of hotels in Sappada and this was by far the most comfortable. The rooms are quite large and prices reasonable. We took the half board which includes breakfast and dinner. The amenities are a big plus. Sauna, whirlpool and outdoor pool are very much appreciated after a long day in the mountains. Cristine, who ran the spa was helpful and courteous, but sometimes forgetful. She forgot our whirlpool reservation. The pool could be better maintained as there were a number of dead insects, but not intolerable. Breakfast was sufficient and filling. Dinner was good, maybe the best of hotel dining, but Sappada has so many great restaurants, it's easy to find wonderful meals. Staff was nice, but young or inexperienced, they tried to please. The wine list was limited, not sure if due to CoVid or just lack of preparation. The location is near the chairlift and old Sappada, but far from the commercial parts of town. I will probably return.

We have been in this hotel as a family the whole week! Lady owner has tried very much to make a profit to stay. We had half board and the food was great. The only one assistant in the restaurant was totally annoying and her name was Elizabeth. Well with this woman we had constant problems. Otherwise, a nice hotel!

The room we had in this hotel was pretty small and the bathroom was from the 1950s ( see pictures). The restaurant was average. The spaces in order to chill were small. You have to pay 8 euros per 15 min of Hammam or bubble bath. The wifi was 4 euros and the signal was really low ( even at the reception desk) Excellent breakfast and the location near pian dei nidi is ok but a 20 min walk from the city center. Anyway this hotel do not deserves his 4 stars, 2 would be we enough...

A wonderful smaller hotel with warm, friendly service and excellent food. The owners were very helpful in suggesting hiking trails and interesting villages to visit. All in all, a wonderful vacation for those who enjoy magnificent scenery and outdoor activities.

this is my first review on TA but I just needed to tell everyone how much my family and I loved this place. The location is amazing and food was so yummy, but the main thing is that Signora Rosa and Fabrizio (hope I spelled that right) made our stay so special. We have 3 children ( 9, 7 and 3) and they were given so much time and attention my husband and I managed to enjoy some 'us time' without worrying about anything. We can't wait to go back in winter and see the snow, from our flat on the 3rd floor we had the most exceptional view of the valley... We all miss it!

Overall a good experience, with a decent room and good cuisine (breakfast and dinner). Unfortunately there are some sore notes: the agreed price for 2 massages, alas ', only verbally, has not been kept (€ 20.00 more). The orange juices, always agreed by phone with Mrs. Rosa, owner of the hotel, included in the breakfast, as usually happens, were paid € 35.00, and for a change, going in confidence. Last gem, the problem of electric car parking: to the request of our friend, also a guest at the hotel, to use the underground garage for the electric car, he was refused, appealing to an ordinance of the province of Udine, which then turned out not to exist; we telephoned the municipality of Sappada, the city police and the fire department of Udine and all confirmed the non-existence of the aforementioned ordinance.
