We stayed at Hotel Finca Del Sol for 4 nights. The cabinas had great character, were well looked after and were cleaned every day. The bed was very comfortable and there was a TV with a DVD player to watch movies on. The grounds and...More

The Tarantulas are small and the circumstances they come near the rooms is to get out of the rain. Having said that, the roofs overhang the room to form a 5 ft rain-sheltered area around the rooms. Any right thinking tarantula would only need to walk under this roof overhang to get out of the rain, Added to that the they would have to crawl under the door if they wanted to get in to the room (there is no food for them in there so they wouldn't be inclined to do that) and the space under the door is very very small. However, it does happen but it is rare.
