We were on our way to Tahiti from Seattle on Jan. 21 when we were diverted to Rarotonga due to heavy rain in Papeete. The airline put us up at the Aro'a Beachside Inn for 24 hours which turned out to be an incredible bonus. The site is spectacular with bar and food service right on the beach a true...

We've spent 11 days at Aroa'a Beachside Inn and had a great time. Owners Geraldine and Steve and their staff are doing a great job making you feel very comfortable. Our apartment was very spacious & cozy, perfectly located right in front of the beach. We already miss the tasty breakfast with all the fresh island fruits at Shipwreck Hut...

We stayed here with the mindset we wanted to experience culture and the way of the island. The rooms as simple and clean. Exactly what we wanted. The staff are AMAZING! We stayed for 12 days, and made what we consider great friends who became our island family. They were helpful in recommending things to do, see and taste. The...

Considering the location, Aroa's Beachside Inn is very hard to beat. The highlight of the stay was definitely the amazing snorkelling just outisde; The views were amazing. There were a few minor things that could use improvements but nothing that'd stop us from booking again.

The bungalow room, the garden and not to forget the Shipwreck Hut, gave me such a good time, and then there is of course the wonderful beach with the reef and snorkelling possibilities..Steve, Geraldine and the w.hole staff...

We spent 12 nights at Aro'a beach over Christmas and the new year. It is an ideal location as our priority was to have access to snorkelling on our door step. It was great snorkelling and we were able to take advantage of it - my husband was in the water every morning before breakfast. I cannot fault the staff....

First stay with Geraldine and Steve, who were most hospitable. Would've been lovely to have had bar open later and have the atmosphere it used to have. Christmas dinner was outstanding, the smoked marlin to die for. Stephanie is an absolute gem, all the staff are lovely but Stephanie is a stand out character. I would rate this property higher...

My wife and I stayed at Aro'a beachside for four nights for a short break at the end of October. I hesitate to call it a resort because it doesn't have that feel. For me it felt very much like our own space,we could choose to be as private or as sociable as we liked. A home away from home....
