We stayed for two nights in this nice hotel. The room was small but sufficient. During the day you have quite loud noise from the kitchen. After 9pm the respective source (ventilation?) is switched off. Very nice garden which can be used to relax and have a drink. The lounge is nice as well. The stuff is friendly and most...

Came here for a meal with 3 other friends. Lovely food, goats cheese with beetroot and orange for starters, steak done to perfection, raspberry thingy with granola for desert which was delicious. Friendly staff and clean restaurant.

Picturesque hotel with old world charm in a quiet part of the island. The setting, food and accommodation were very good, however, the standout feature during our stay was friendliness of the staff. They really made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. Will definitely visit again.

We stayed here as part of a cycling party last week. We arrived very wet thanks to a last minute downpour. The owner could not have been more helpful, he took 6 lots of soggy cycling gear away and dried it. We had a beautiful meal in the evening and a lovely breakfast in the morning. I highly recommend this...

5 of us on a tourist trip enjoyed our stay here. Food at dinner was very good and the lovely breakfast room and food was excellent. Room comfortable and staff very friendly. After a day being a tourist on a chilly rainy day it was a delight to have a fire in the common room where we could all access...

Socialised with other patrons and staff in the evening, with a peaceful nights sleep. Food menu was small but delicious. Great breakfast. Already looking forward to my next visit with husband and...

Visited at lunch time with my wife and daughter. Stopped for lunch whilst having a drive around the Island. We opted for sandwiches with a side of home made chips. We had 2 chicken and bacon club which were as tasty as any sandwich I have had. The bacon was more sliced ham. Wife had the cheese and onion toastie...

My wife and I arrived at the Lagg Hotel after barely surviving the walk from Blackwaterfoot. We were soaked through and none too warm. Our spirits rose when welcomed warmly by the friendly staff who soon got a log fire going in the lounge. Our wet gear was whisked away and hung up to dry in the boilerhouse . Our...
