Searching for a "special Place" with luxury connotations with price-worthiness, we found this... ...place. The road getting there is "dubious", and getting even worse as the broad asphalt road changes into a narrow concrete cracked road - "is this really right?" - and YES! The road literally ends in a Italian mansion with terraces, a 10(?)meter pool, carefully planned surroundings...

We were happy to stay here last week. It's location is out of town on a mountain, which gives you amazing views to the ocean, surrounding orchards and beauty of nature. We stayed in room 7 which is separated from the main building, located quietly, private small terrace, kitchen with fridge and airco. We liked it very much. The owners...

We've had a great 10-day stay at Finca el Tossal in May. Friendly hosts, great food, nice rustic spacious but cozy rooms. When you meet the hosts they'll show you around. When the rooms are not all full they might offer you to choose one. Swimming pool not very big but good when you need a refreshing swim. Getting to...

We stayed here in may for four nights and it was just perfect. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and nicely decorated and the food was just outstanding. The only disadvantage we found was the location as Benidorm, Allicante and the other surrounded places are very touristic commercial.

Very nice hotel. The bed was very comfortable. The view is magnificent, you only hear the noise of birds singing. The food is excellent cooked by a very positive and charming cook Lucio. The owners of the place are a delight to talk to. Their service is very discreet and peaceful. You need a car to get to the cute...

This fabulous Finca is located off the beaten path, but is a short drive to the beach, the town of Altea and interesting tourist attractions. The views are exquisite, the rooms are impeccable and the grounds and pool are beautiful. The biggest and best surprise of all were the dinners. Lucio, the chef, creates exquisite inventive meals that you would...

We had a few days at the end of our holiday and wanted to stay somewhere near Altea. Finca el Tossal was available and the reviews were good. The hotel is located in the mountains above Bollula. It looks out towards the coast which is about a 20 -30 minute drive away. Access is via a narrow steep and winding...

We loved the views, breakfast and dinner on the terrace and such wonderful food. Sonia and Thorsten were brilliant hosts, making us feel welcome in what feels like their home. The rooms are spacious, but lack air conditioning, so can get hot. The pool and gardens are fantastic and we spent lazy days there with no need to find lunch...

We stayed here for a week and can quite honestly say it was one of the best holidays ever. Our charming, dedicated hosts Thorsten and Sonia have created a marvellous retreat high up in the mountains inland from Altea. The views from the rooms and the restaurant are simply stunning. If you need a beach, there are several within 30...
