We stayed two nights over New Year (family of 4 plus two dogs). Our stay was excellent, starting with the New Years Eve 'Gala Dinner'. The food, room and atmosphere was superb all the way through. This was all underpinned with warm welcome from Heather, Abi and all the other staff. Highly recommend!

Had a midweek hiking break, staying at the Pooley Bridge Inn. The manageress Heather and staff where excellent. The food was great and the breakfast excellent. They couldn't do enough for you. Pub charming good beer, and a lovely log fire. Room very clean and tidy. Will be back with other halves. Eric Bell.

We have just returned home from a lovely 2 night break. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable (except the mattress which was soggy) with lovely extra touches. The shower was powerful and hot with soft fluffy towels. We found the food excellent and the portions were huge. What really makes this place are the staff who we...

We stayed for 2 days on the winter 2 nights + dinner 1 night offer with two large dogs. All the staff were friendly, smiled and were happy to help. Dogs are certainly welcomed and can be with you while you eat your meals. The food is fabulous, large portions and the best 'pub' food we've had. We were in...

We have visited many times with our extended family. We come here on sort camping trips for the children and the adults to just relax and to enjoy the out doors. Pooly Bridge is a lovely little village with excellent tea rooms, shops and family friendly pubs.

Went here for lunch and was more than happy with what I received. The menu has changed but all in all is okay. I got the pie with chips which was very tasty and not overly expensive, lakes wise anyway! All of the food seems to be locally sourced which I always find a plus! I guess it should always...
