Owned by a Charitable Trust, this luxury hotel puts customer satisfaction before profit. The 32 acres are immaculately maintained by a staff of 23 gardeners. Situated just outside Durban, you enter a different world. All the rooms are luxurious, particularly rooms 20 and 29, the two Presidential Suites. Gourmet food and good wines all at reasonable prices. Unfortunately, we were... More

I've passed the sign for this lodge many times over the years, and finally had the opportunity to stay over when we booked a business conference there - it was the perfect spot! It is beautiful hotel, with huge open lands full of grass and birds floating around on it. Rooms are big, with all amenities. Food has a variety and taste is good. Staff is courteous and responsive. Must go.

Beautiful grounds. Helpful and attentive staff. Luxury rooms with beautiful views, extremely comfortable beds, dstv/satellite tv, latest coffee machines, spacious and decorated beautifully. Excellent restaurant. Nice pub and swimming pool. Little shop for gifts or snacks. I would highly recommend this hotel. There is a lovely spa there too.
