This hotel was last refurbished (according to the plaque outside) in 1994 and I do not think it has been touched since! Overall it has a tired and slightly run-down appearance.

2 couples away for the weekend. we were staying here due to the fact couldn't get another night at Moness.
So we arrived mid morning so couldn't get into rooms until 3 which was fine. We had a wander through Birnam then onto Dunkeld.
Excellent hotel within walking distance for nearby Dunkeld and across the road from Beatrix Potter's Garden. The interior was perfectly vintage with high ceilings, original coving, classic elevator with sliding cage door and turrets.
