I have been on Rattling quite a few times now as we take our boat over for the great fishing of Bull Point. We normally pull in at the new Marina and head to the pub for a few pints of Guinness but this time we decided to go to the hotel for something to eat. To say we were...

Chill out in the most unbelievable location. The Manor House staff give 100% making sure that everyone enyoys the unique experience offered by the Island . The Islanders are extremely welcoming. The wildlife is unbelievable and the views spectacular. One of the best restaurants we have been in. Everyone who eats at the Manor House must try the bisque, scallops,...

Really enjoyed a fantastic dinner here on a recent trip to Rathlin. We were surprised to find the menu that night was tapas...and even more surprised to find that that the tapas was as good as we had had in Spain in the past, and it was extremely reasonably priced. The night we went it was howling with rain and...

Took the good lady for an overnighter last Sunday. Got the 12 .00pm slow ferry .. 45 mins on a soft, sunny mirrored sea crossing ... mainsprings slowly unwinding. Got to the hotel which was a mere 30 seconds from the mooring and shown to the delightful room no 8. Room large ,light, roomy, clean and decorated simply with a...

We've spent many weekeds walking along the north coast & have looked out across to Rathlin Island. However, we've never been there before. Not until now. We've just returned from staying for two nights (7&8 August) in The Manor House on Rathlin Island. Before writing this, I quickly re-read the reviews below and can't help feeling that there must be...

I decided to take a trip to rathlin island even though I was dreading it because of past experiences with islands. What can I say. The place is amazing. The Manor House is unique and full of character. All the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. Its not that fake 'give you a smile and make small talk because I have...

With one notable exception, which was the waiter on our first evening, the service at this hotel was atrocious, unwelcoming and by far the worst we encountered on our 10 day trip in Ireland. The whole place looked tired and uncared for which was a real shame considering its perfect location. I don't mind bed linen that is not the...

What a fabulous location and what terrible accommodation. For £65, this is terrible value for money. The whole place is scruffy, untidy and uncared for. The bedroom was atrocious - cheapest furniture possible, bed not made up properly, bed linen dating back to the 80s in appaling condition - I'm sure it had been washed but felt dirty. I have...

First time on the island and we were lloked after very well by everyone in the Manor House. I was a little aprehensive at the thought of the only hotel on the island not having to work too hard at keeping up standards, but these fears were totally unfounded. Yes there are a few quirks, you have to order breakfast...
