Based on the photos and description on their website; I actually cancelled my reservation at another Auberge in Knowlton to stay at the Lakeview Inn. I regret making that decision. Granted - The Inn is historical but my room was overpriced, had an old mattress and was very small and stuffy. I had to keep the window open to get...

We have taken your review into consideration. Although we will maintain our standards for future clients. Our internet problems have been fixed. On rare occasions when the power failures arrive the internet does suffer. Prior to your arrival we experienced multiple power failures that affected our WiFi system. We regret the fact that we could not offer the internet during...

My brother has a Bed & Breakfast in Vermont and this place reminds me of it. This historic building brings you back to the beginning of the 1900's. It is a beauty to look at. It's fun to stay at places like this. There is no elevator and a lot of stairs to get to the third floor. But take...

I stopped for the night as the Hotel was hosting a Summer Live Play and it ended at 11pm , and I didn't want to drive home after the play. I was given a very nice and comfy room with a double bed. The room was decorated Victorian style. Very clean. Folks here were very welcoming. Had supper from the...

I was lucky enough to find this hotel through Travelocity when I was planning an overnight for a Spartan Race nearby. It's a charming hotel situated walking distance to some lovely shops and restaurants in the quaint downtown. The staff couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating! Looking forward to revisiting the property and having more time to explore this...

From the outside it looks like an old hotel but the rooms are nicely decorated with tasty modern amenities. A few minutes from the beach and great for a walk. Not always fully staffed as it is never very crowded. Ideal for a get away. Sometimes you need to pickup the key yourself as, despite the wonderful setting, not many...

Before booking a room for my 83 years old mother, I called 4 times to make sure that the hotel was able to accommodate a senior citizen using a walker and that the room selected had the amenities required for an elderly client. The hotel manager even went as far as to tell me that his 93 year old mother...

A group of rooms were reserved for the family attending a wedding at the Inn. the room that was occupied by your Mother was part of the group. If the room was not adequate for your mother we would have changed the room. No one had asked us to change the room. The main stairway is the original stairway of...

I have worked in the service and Tourism industry for over 25 years and have never been more insulted by the actions that this property chose. After requesting not once, not twice but three times in 24 hours to remove a blood stained mattress cover that we were told the third time was 'a stain that won't come out'...they finally...

We are sorry for the inconvenience, the mattress cover was replaced and the room was given to you complementary upon check out. It is unfortunate we were not able to satisfy you. Our aim is to give the best service possible.

We enjoyed our stay in this historic inn very much. The staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. The breakfast and the coffee were delicious. We will definitely stay there again if we are in Knowlton, which is a charming town.

The inn has been beautifully restored to its 1800s elegance. We chose the larger mini-suite and enjoyed the lounge chairs on our balcony. Breakfast was delicious and the service was excellent. There is no 'lake view', but it's a lovely stroll down to the marina. The town offers shopping and bistros, and there's a nice mix of Franch and English...

We stayed at this unique inn off Hwy #10 for one night. We loved everything about it. Friendly staff, lovely meal in their onsite restaurant, very clean and well kept. We stayed on a Sunday night so it was very quiet. Some reviews have said it needs an update and is stuck in the past. This is what makes it...
