We are a family run, relaxed hotel in a garden with parking in protected countryside above the legendary Butterfly Valley in Faralya. We have 10 ensuite rooms, one apart house and one interconnected room– some traditional timber chalets around our swimming pool and a few more stone built in the olive groves. They are modern with wifi access and air conditioning…In summer our dining room is outside on our terrace. We make as much use as possible of our own and local produce to create five course dinners. In winter, spring and autumn we are equipped for walkers who want to trek the famous Lycian Way and admire the wildlife – eagles, storks, even dragonflies and of course butterflies and wonderful fauna. In summer you can just laze around our pool or visit one of the five spectacular beaches nearby or go shopping in Fethiye. Our sunsets are spectacular. And being higher up the air is cooler than in the bottom of the valley where temperatures will be well over 30 degrees. We can also arrange boat trips and other excursions if you want to explore this historic and undiscovered part of the world. Some people call it paradise. Well, we like it anyway...Visit us and it will be our pleasure to show you why.

The concept is nice with lodges & a small swimming pool. Yet, rooms were too small & not that clean. Service was good & breakfast was very good actually. It's recommended for super short stays and luxury requirement.

Stayed here on part of the Lycian Way with trekking group. Beautiful setting with views down the canyon . nice swimming pool. Delicious food. Hosts are so very nice & welcoming. It rained as we were there is April and they lite a lovely fire which added to great atmosphere. Rooms were great too. You will hear the mosque call-to-prayer.

We stayed here whilst passing through Faralya trekking the Lycian Way and it was perfect. Beautiful views, delicious home cooked proper food and a really welcoming host who went above and beyond what was necessary. All of the staff were really welcoming and friendly. I’d definitely recommend.

The hotel’s manager Bayram himself walked Likya Way many times. He know all the routes and alternative routes. He helped us take the southern route instead of Likya way to Kabak from Faralya. It was a small but incredible touch. He also helped us with the logistics and helped us to be picked up from Gabak. The rooms are very clean and cosy. Service is very nice. Food is excellent. If you tell them what you want to eat in the night from the morning they prepare your dish for you. The fireplace in the restaurant is a perfect spot to end the long trekking day with a wine

We stayed 3 nights at Montenegro and I would definitely come again. The bungalows are very cozy and clean. It’s a super calm place - perfect for couples or families. The owner and his family are wonderful and super friendly people. We felt very welcome. Dinner is traditional and fresh every evening and the view is amazing. The owner gave us a very nice hiking route to Aktas beach (a hidden beach where we were are almost alone). I can recommend that hotel to everyone! Enjoy!

We rented a car and drove from Pamukkale to this little paradise. Walk few meters and find the Butterfly Valley. The dinner is homemade and really good. Nice great in Turkey if you're looking to be away from those tourist spots and huge crowds.

There are now more choices if you fancy a day trip or overnight to the mountains of Faralya and Kabak. We have noe tried 3 (which are all good and I am not going to name - as a positive review of the Montenegro should not be seen as a slight against any of them!) The Montenegro is easy to find - just get off at the first Mosque if taking the Dolmus, but a taxi is also cheap - less than 7 GBP. 11 chalets are there, basic but with air con or heating depending on when you go. Nice pool, great views and the food is amazing. Bed, lovely breakfast and a 4 course cooked meal cost us 55 GBP for 2 of us. Very friendly and helpful staff. My new go to place in the hills for a cheap hight quality and very peaceful retreat. Cannot recommend higher

This is a lovely family run hotel. We were greeted by a friendly smile, a clean and comfortable room and blissful swimming pool. Dinner was good honest Turkish fare as was breakfast. The sunset was glorious overlooking the butterfly valley and picnic lunch the best of all.
