I stayed here a few weeks ago. You can't beat the price of 20 Euros for a room -- and the staff is friendly and helpful as well. It is located in the small and comfortable village of Tarxien. I found it easy enough to take a bus to anywhere on the island. I warn you to watch out for...

The location is great but a little hard to find. It is the closest hotel to the airport. I found the staff to be very friendly and knowledgeable of the island, even tho they were not Maltese. The rooms were surprisingly big and had en suite. The breakfast was average, but the atmosphere was very nice. It had a nice...

Come visit if you want a stay in clean, comfortable, well-thought out accommodation. As good as many hotels, in a beautiful location, a quiet corner of town. close to bus route and local shops etc. Joe will help you with places to visit, where to catch the bus, (5min walk) the local temples, and even picked me up from the...

Located in the (VERY QUIET) town of Tarxien, Bowyer's house is a basic but nice hotel. I paid 30euros a night for a decent sized room. Ensuite bathroom was okay, but shower was quite dirty. Comfy bed. Room doesn't get cleaned whilst you're there unless you pay extra, so even my bins weren't emptied/towels replaced. Prefer this to annoying housekeeping...

We didn't expect anything special in the room. Everyday we woke up and left the room, and off we went for our adventure wondering around in Malta. I can surely recommend the winebar as we really loved it. Hostel was quite, cheap, overall nothing that bothered me that much. See ya soon

(+): - Wi-Fi. - Big bedrooms. - Swimming pool. - Very cheap prices (20€ person/night) and including breakfast, which was OK (coffee, milk, water, juice, sometimes fruit, cereals...). - Bus stop next to the hostel (1min). Lots of buses pass by Tarxien, and the distance between Valletta and Tarxien is only 10-15min. Also the bus that goes to the airport...
