Lovely ambience and setting just annoying this happened. Ordered lamb dish and then told after order was taken no lamb left, bad communication from the kitchen no pre service briefing, offered venison but not explained it would cost £3:50 more which we only found out when the bill came. Bottled beers nice selection but didn't understand from waitress as she... More

Great room, I stayed in Room 8 with terrace. Restaurant busy, full of great atmosphere, service good, prompt and nice food with good wine. Highly recommended with exception of church bells ringing every hour...made for very interrupted sleep!

We arrived for breakfast with 2 young children and no reservation. There was no room for us but rather than say they were too busy and to come back in 30mins they gave us a loaf of bread and directions to a duck pond. The food and coffee were very good and ambience really warm but the staff made it... More

We love this place for it's delicious breakfasts and lunches. We find that it is just the perfect to enjoy relaxing with a coffee and a bite for brunch. It is also an ideal place for a catch up with friends or a browse though the morning newspapers.

I was told I should pop into this unusual establishment for coffee and cake. What a good idea that was. Real breads, real cakes and friendly staff. This clearly fulfils a need locally and was very well attended on a Saturday lunchtime

I have been here a number of times when visiting Bruton, but this was the first time I tried the pizza. I had the spinach with goat's cheese which came on a thin crust - it was very good and I was there for lunch. So much to eat that I could not eat any more that day! I had... More

I met up with an old friend for dinner after work and for a catch up. The atmosphere even mid week was lively and buzzing. The staff while attentive were not intrusive and my friend and I were able to catch up and discuss business without too much intrusion. I had the crab linguine and lemon and mint sorbet which... A great cafe with BNB rooms. We had coffee there several times.. great coffee, great service, lovely bakery products, views out over the spires and gothic buildings, very swish set up .. a top spot for any services they offer.

Really enjoyed staying here. Room 6 was very comfortable. We had a drink in the bar before dinner and then ate in the restaurant. The morning croissant delivered to the door was big and good quality. The coffee in the room was excellent too. We bought some items from the bakery the next day and they were all superb. Looking... More

I was staying local so decided to give this place a go. The food was good but some room for improvement. the environment was excellent. It had a lovey atmosphere and a beautiful layout. Reasonable prices. I would certainly recommend giving this place a try.
