Visited for a Christmas meal. Food was excellent with plenty of vegetables and gravy, served on warm plates. Good quality meat well cooked and excellent portions. Staff efficient with quick service. Well done.

I bought a voucher from Groupon for the afternoon tea. It was the best afternoon tea I've ever had. Neither my friend and I had the mulled wine so we were given a glass of orange juice each, a big bottle of water and unlimited hot drinks. The cakes and sandwiches were lovely. The staff were so attentive and friendly....

I and my wife and her brother are staying for two nights at Maes Manor, as where we usually stay in Blackwood (The Rock) was unfortunately fully booked. However, we have not been disappointed; our rooms (us in room 20, brother in law in 19) are spacious, clean, and well equipped. We did have a problem with the radiator not...

We booked a meal for about twenty for Dad in laws' 90th Birthday...we couldn't have been happier! The food was excellent and plentiful, the service very efficient, and staff friendly. I was a bit apprehensive after reading some reviews, but our dining room was bright and pretty, and we had a lovely time, including three small children. Thankyou Maes Manor!

A very good hotel for the price you pay. Beautiful setting with lovely grounds - weather was ok when I was there, but I am sure in the height of summer then wonderful to stroll round the gardens which are kept immaculately or sit on the terrace with a drink. As you can see by the pictures the hotel is...

We have been to lots of cream teas , but this was definately the best . We were offered as much tea and coffee as we wanted . There was plenty of everything plus the waitress kept offering more. The waitress was excellent very at tentative. I will definately return with other family members.
