Let's start from the location by saying that it exceeded our expectations. We stayed at the yellow apartment and immediately felt at home. Extremely large, clean, welcoming rooms, equipped with every comfort and with attention to the smallest details. Just to give an example, in the kitchen we found an oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, blender, coffee machines (moka included) and this is not to be taken for granted. In addition to the fact that the apartment is equipped with everything, what makes it special is above all the magnificent veranda from which you can enjoy an incomparable view of English Harbour. You can fully relax while lying in the hammock or on the comfortable "canopy sofa". The structure is very close to supermarkets, restaurants and clubs, many of which offer take-away services and it is therefore possible to dine on the veranda while enjoying the sunset. It is possible to park your car inside the structure's car park. Perfect and powerful Wifi and Air conditioning. The location is ideal for quickly reaching the most beautiful beaches on the island. Orietta and Danilo were very kind, always available to give advice and suggestions on how to best enjoy Antigua. You can sense that they care a lot about making their guests feel good. In conclusion Donkey on the Beach is highly recommended for those who want to visit Antigua. Alessandro, Manuela and Valentina

This place is balsam for the mind & soul. Its a super clean well run boutique hotel very well accessible in the hills surrounded by gorgeous nature close to the beach. You will sleep and relax like nowhere else not to mention the competitive pricing (forget overpriced hotels right on the beach - not worth it).

We had a 10 day holiday in February. The apartment definitely exceeded our expectations. Equipped with all comforts just a few meters from some of the beaches worth visiting in Antigua, Galleon and Pigeon Beach. The property is also close to English Harbor and Nelson's Dockyard. On foot in the evening you can reach various restaurants and clubs where you can eat and drink well, also enjoying a bit of nightlife. The island in general is fantastic but with all the advice of Orietta and Danilo, owners of the structure, we enjoyed the best beaches, the best sunset venues and the best restaurants for quality/price ratio. When we return to Antigua, we have no doubts, we will return to Donkey on the beach!!!

Abbiamo trascorso 11 giorni nell’appartamento “turquoise” al piano terra della bellissima casa di Orietta e Danilo. C’è una grande veranda, dove facevamo colazione ogni mattina, e una zona relax con zanzariera, dove sdraiarsi su morbidi cuscini ed ammirare il panorama su English Harbour. L’appartamento è dotato di ogni comfort e la cucina superaccessoriata per ogni esigenza (microonde, tostapane, persino la moka!). I padroni di casa quando arrivi ti fanno trovare il frigo con pane, burro, marmellata, uova …. tutto il necessario per la colazione (e non solo!). Wi-fi veloce. Insomma non manca nulla, ti forniscono anche un cellulare in caso di necessità durante la vacanza e, oltre alla mappa dell’isola, ti danno mille consigli su cosa visitare e quali spiagge scoprire. Il viaggio dall’Italia è stato lungo, ma ci siamo innamorati sia della casa che di Antigua. Ci auguriamo di tornarci presto!

Hôtes incroyablement sympathiques et attentionnés. Site et hébergement de rêve! Eau, bières, breuvages et denrées de base étaient déjà au réfrigérateur à l’arrivée. C’est tellement apprécié lors de l’arrivée, Nous n’avons donc pas été obligés de courir pour acheter tout cela. L’appartement est très bien équipé, très propre et joliment décoré. Les propriétaires sont extrêmement aidants et sociables . Par leurs conseils, ils sont également d’une aide précieuse afin que les clients puissent profiter au maximum d’Antigua.

Siamo stati per una settimana ospiti di questa struttura . Ci siamo trovati benissimo . L’appartamento è spazioso e ha tutti i confort: una piccola cucina , letto enorme , bagno capiente e una meravigliosa terrazza attrezzata per poter pranzare/cenare all’aperto o semplicemente rilassarsi dopo una giornata in spiaggia davanti alla magnifica vista della rada . La posizione è molto comoda perché in 5 minuti si raggiunge il porto con tutta la zona dei i negozietti e dei ristoranti sul mare . I proprietari sono stati gentilissimi e disponibili ad aiutarci in ogni modo . Consiglio Assolutamente questa bellissima sistemazione .

Quest’anno due belle vacanze stiamo facendo ad Antigua la prima l’abbiamo fatta nel mese di maggio giugno e adesso siamo venuti per le feste di Natale tutto il mese di dicembre e anche qualche giorno di gennaio 2022 siamo tornati sempre a Donkey on the Beach dove Danilo E Orietta veramente ci fanno sentire come a casa tutto disponibile tutto pulito tutto in ordine e gradevolissimo l’alloggia, Noi abbiamo scelto Monolocale Coccolati con tanta simpatia e tante attenzioni Consigliatissimo sopratutto x gli Italiani

We usually travel around to different hotels and guest houses - but we found this one and stayed the full 2 weeks. It’s simply stunning! Very high spec, fantastic views, remote, peaceful and quiet… but a 5 minute walk and you are in English Harbour - close to everything. The hosts, Oriella and Daniello (sorry if I have your name wrong) could not have been more hospitable - offering to make us pizza, filling the fridge with essentials….. honestly cannot recommend enough - thank you ❤️🌴
