The Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba Resort is celebrated for its spotless amenities, including a unique private island that guests adore. While opinions on the hotel's value diverge, with some questioning the cost of rooms and services, the private island experience is often deemed worth the expense. Travelers commend the hotel's prime Oranjestad location and the attentive staff who provide exceptional service. Despite mixed feedback on room noise and views, they're noted for their cleanliness and size. The atmosphere is described as a lively blend of relaxation and energetic music, though a few guests may find it overpowering.

We stayed here 3 nights. We loved the sparkling cleanliness of the rooms and common areas. We also loved our two days going out to Renaissance Island. No issues getting beach chairs in the shade each day around 9am. Had breakfast on RI one day and it was delightful. The breakfast buffet in the hotel was great the other 2 mornings. Service was great around the resort. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We decided to travel to Aruba for our wedding anniversary and the whole experience was amazing, made even more amazing by the wonderful staff of the Renaissance Windcreek resort. The rooms and service were top of the line. The breakfast was sumptuous but what made it a memorable experience was Keila. She was warm, personable and took care of our every need. She made us feel very welcome. Thank you, Keila, for being such a warm person. Overall, a home run!

Didn't stay at resort but went to the Dining Under the Stars dinner special at wind creek island available only on Wednesdays. Just a short boat ride to the island. Delicious gourmet meal on the beach, under the stars with flamingos walking all around you! A truly special and romantic experience!

The hotel is centrally located and most of the staff was very helpful. Especially one of the bellman John super nice and helpful. I’m a content creator with a large following on social media and chose this hotel based on great reviews and what I thought would be great content. However …. The hot water in my room didn’t get hot just lukewarm, I let someone know at the front desk she said she would send someone up and never did. I mentioned it again at checkout and was told that the H for hot and C for cold are in the wrong spots so I should’ve turned them the opposite way. That’s ridiculous but also would’ve been nice to know. Small things such as the patios on the 3rd floor don’t have lights outside so I couldn’t enjoy it after sunset bc it’s pitch black. Also they use the rooftop area for morning workout classes so I opened the blinds one morning with my robe open and accidentally flashed everyone. A heads up would’ve been nice especially for safety reasons since I was traveling solo😬. Upon arrival there was small trash left in the room (Starbucks straw papers) kinda let me know the room wasn’t thoroughly cleaned. The boat couldn’t pull into the lobby most days due to the tide so I didn’t get to experience that cool piece which sucked. For $2400 I would’ve liked to. Lastly the day before checkout I stopped at the front desk to confirm I could leave my luggage as my flight wasn’t until later, the woman at the desk said sure and that I could also use the hospitality suite to freshen up before my flight. The day of checkout I was told I would have needed to sign up for the suite. So small things like that made me feel like I could’ve stayed somewhere for cheaper and just gotten a day pass to the island.

Very nice hotel. The lobby with the boat dock is very cool! The rooms were nice and clean, but room service wasn't always consistent (when they would come). The breakfast buffet had a lot of variety with lots of fresh fruit. The location was good (if you want a downtown explorer vibe, not a true resort vibe). The island was stunning! I was a little freaked out by how many people they packed on the boat to the island, but it was fun! We liked the family side (Iguana) of the island better than the (flamingo) adult side. It wasn't as packed as I thought it would be. It was a really great experience. I'm not sure I would want to spend 7 days going to the island every day, as it took a bit of effort, but I loved it.

Dear Ohiofoodluv, Appreciate your feedback! It's great to know you had a pleasant stay at our hotel and enjoyed the unique lobby with the boat dock. While there were some inconsistencies with room service, we're pleased you found our breakfast buffet varied. Our downtown location offers an explorer vibe, and we're happy it suited you. We're thrilled you found our island stunning and had a great experience, despite the boat feeling crowded. We hope to welcome you back for another great stay in the future! Regards,

Excellent experience! Will definitely try to go back. The Renaissance Marina hotel is located in a perfect spot downtown with a pool overlooking the main street and harbor. John, the Greeter, was a great help as we navigated the island all week and a true ambassador for the Renaissance and Aruba! Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 7 nights at Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba Ocean Suites and we were able to visit the private island every day and enjoy the flamingos and iguanas. We were served by Karla the first day and made it a point to sit in her section each day because the great service, personal attention and her great memory of our favorite drinks and food. We were able to visit each restaurant at both Ocean Suites and the Marina tower and they were all outstanding and the service very special. We were served by Marlishah several times at both Fresco and Solé and always tried to sit in her area because of her bubbly personality and joy. And our Room Attendant, Maritza Suarez, was the highlight of the week. Not only did she do a fantastic job keeping our room updated and fresh, but each time we saw her she greeted us with the biggest smile and showed the best excitement. She made us feel very much at home. Thank you all for a memorable week and we look forward to seeing you again very soon.

We had the most amazing vacation and cannot wait to return! The Renaissance resort is fabulous. Everyone was so welcoming, kind and enthusiastic and really appreciated tourists. We felt very safe. It is beautiful and really no need to leave the area as there are plenty of food and entertainment options. We made the most of our trip with visits to every outstanding g restaurant, gazebo at Flamingo Island and massages right on the beach! The boat captains, our cabana waiter, all bartenders and service staff, were fantastic. The pool bar was so fun with great food and drinks and an awesome setup. We stayed in the ocean suites and our suite was amazing! We had a great balcony to watch the ships go in and out as we enjoyed our morning coffee. Really outstanding experience; we will be back. Thanks to every awesome person we met while at the Renaissance for making it so very enjoyable.

My wife and I checked into the Renaissance Hotel in Aruba early and of course our room wasn’t ready. As usual they gave us a card with a confirmation code that could be used to charge items to our account before we were assigned a room. We went to the Acquarius restaurant at the resort to have lunch. We gave the confirmation code to Dora our waitress. Amazingly, she returned awhile later to tell us our room was ready and she took the opportunity to get our keys. I can’t tell you how appreciative we were about Dora’s outstanding customer service. She went well above the normal level of service to make our trip more enjoyable. Bravo.
