I stay at the vista II building. It has a great ocean view and a palumba for shade right in front of my room. The maids are the same every year and greet you with the smile and hug. The waitresses and waiters in the...More

Great stay at the Divi again. the beach is always great but the Aruban people are what make it even more special. Its always great to see the old faces of Ronnie, Curtis and Carmela, but this year we met some new future super servers,...More
We loved our stay at the Divi Aruba. The beach was beautiful and it was easy to get a lounge chair in the shade to enjoy the water. The food was very good and we had exceptional service especially at the Red Parrot. The entertainment...More
Recent storms have reduced the number of beach huts so nearly all are claimed by 7 am. Choice ones are gone by 6. You can make dinner reservations two days in advance and the new 4 story building makes that a necessity. You can call...More

We had room 602 which was an end room on the second floor and was closest to Sandpiper bar. Nice view of Caribbean and private balcony. We like that end of the resort because it's a lot quieter down that end. Especially at night during entertainment. You can hear the music though from the neighbor Tamarijn resort but not bad. Great room because you don't have to deal with people being above you and only on one side of you. Sometimes neighbors can be noisy or if they have kids. Walls are a little thin at this resort.. Keep an eye out in the mornings for the cruise ships between 7 and 9 am. Rooms are nice and have a mini fridge in the closet where safe is.

Sign up on the Divi Aruba All Inclusive website and they will let you know when they have there cyber Monday sale. Believe me you can save a lot of money booking it that way. We saved over 1400 dollars and got the more expensive rooms called the Lanai oceanfront. Book your air separate. We payed 2400 for a week vs 3800. Summer is a better time to go being cheaper than travel November thru Apriil being peak season. We booked a flight thru Southwest which is the only direct flight we could find. Most package deals you book have layovers plus you pay for baggage. Also just take a cab directly to your resort which is much quicker than transfers and not that much more in cost. Cab service is very well organized and gets you out fast.
