My husband and I try to visit Aruba at least once a year however this is the first time we stayed somewhere different. There was not a lot of guest due to the COVID-19. However there was no shortage of staff to show us a fantastic vacation in spite of. The resort is very clean. The staff was very attentive and there was hand sanitizer dispensers all in the common areas and before you enter anywhere enclosed on the resort. The Food was pretty good, because this is not an all inclusive resort we went to dinner most nights. The Taco's are amazing, they have $2 taco's on Tuesdays at Pure Ocean, the sister restaurant Pure Beach was closed due to low capacity I think. The pool bar /bar drinks were pretty good .Prices are typical, what I mean by that is average like when you go out at home(not Miami prices) but the drinks were 2 for 1 . Best Beach Ever. We had a lovely time. Christian helped us out a lot. We will be returning.

My husband and I just returned from Aruba after two fabulous weeks and we had the most amazing time! I need to send a huge thank you to the incredible staff at the Divi Phoenix. They made our experience more enjoyable and went above and beyond our expectations. Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly staff, our luggage was immediately taken to our room. For our entire stay, they made us feel extremely safe.
The beach service was the best service we have experienced on the Island and I thank both Julio’s … every day they immediately came to us to take care of our chairs which they always sanitized before they place them at your palapa. The Pure Beach & Deli staff were fabulous, thank you to Sabastian for always giving us tips on cooking sea bass along with several other informative tidbits. I don’t think I have ever experienced the kindness and attention we received during all of our years traveling. We had the opportunity to meet Yvette, the front desk manager who is absolutely lovely along with Beverly, Kimberly & I could name more but all were so accommodating.
From our taxi drivers to all of the restaurants we visited we actually felt so much safer in Aruba than we do back home in the states. We can’t wait to visit again, and we are planning to return in March! Again, thank you to everyone at the Phoenix, you are the Best and we can’t wait to return!!!

In February 2020, my husband and I stayed at the Phoenix New Villas beach suites Building B. The pool and beach service provided by Ramon and his team was outstanding. They were the best…always helpful and friendly. They helped make our vacation go smoothly…a fantastic group of people. The units at the Phoenix were clean and spacious. The pool with its swim-up bar was gorgeous. We really enjoyed the daily happy-hour specials. A welcome feature of this resort was the beach that was reserved for hotel guests only. There were two beaches to choose from. The water was clear, calm and clean. There were no boats, so there was no gasoline pollution like there is at many public beaches. Aruba offers many water activities such as fishing, parasailing, snorkelling, and many other water sports. One land activity that I would recommend is a tour of the island. Almost every hotel has a casino ready to accommodate gamblers and furnish them with stories about all the money they won, leaving out the part about how much they put in. There are many excellent restaurants to choose from that will suit every person’s taste. No wonder they call it “One Happy Island”.

Through VRBO, we rented a studio condo the last week of December. The rooms were fine. Full cleaning was offered only once during the week, all other days they would exchange towels and empty trash. From other guests, we learned mid week that we could have paid 100 dollars for the week to have daily cleaning. This would have been nice to have been told when checking in. The pool is not great. The beach is very nice, but the worst part of staying here was the people who get down to the beach at 4-5am and save more than one palapa for the day. Some of them were never used, just reserved with towels while the people who reserved them sat at the next one. It is horrible. I would stay some place else due this and the less than great pool area.

Third time staying at Divi Phoenix as part of a timeshare exchange with Divi Resorts.

We stayed in a one-bedroom unit in the Beach Villa Towers. It was almost 800 square feet with two full bathrooms. Very clean condition. Kitchen was adequately stocked with cooking supplies. We like to cook our own breakfast and lunch, so having a decent kitchen is helpful. Our balcony was very big and came with multiple chairs. The A/C worked very well.

Layout of the resort is nice, with the pool and beach very close to all back entrances of the hotel. The main pool isn't that big but it was lively and fun (and doesn't blast music all day, which I appreciated). Surprisingly, getting a pool chair was more difficult than getting a palapa on the beach. As someone who is fair skinned and needs a lot of shade, I liked that the pool has palapas instead of flimsy umbrellas. I also appreciated the amount of time and attention that the staff gave each day to clean the pool.

Front desk staff and concierge were helpful and polite when we needed anything. Hotel location is great as you have many restaurants within walking distance if you like and taking a cab downtown doesn't break the bank, either.

Divi Phoenix was recommended to us as we searched for a place on Aruba that we could have an extended stay. From arrival to check out everyone was very friendly, helpful and supportive. The deli, restaurant and bar and the well-kept beach are enough to make you not want to leave the property. If you do wander, Divi Phoenix is in walking distance of all the resorts, a wide variety of restaurants, and all the beach you can sink your toes into.

The rooms are well-appointed and the beds are most comfortable with just the right mix of softness and firmness for perfect sleep. You will love it here!

Back again for our annual visit to the Divi Aruba Phoenix. As usual we had a great time and can't wait to come again next January. The room was great and some noticeable improvements include new TVs, I believe new mattresses that are extremely comfortable, and Netflix availability. A word on that. I was shocked to see 4 peoples' accounts I could access on Netflix in our room. No way was I going to add ours if it would stay there past our checkout. I did use someone else's account but only watched shows they had already watched so as not to change anything on their account. There is no way Divi should be doing this. All accounts should be wiped upon checkout. New palapas were added to the beach area but all of them were put in the main beach area. There is a small beach at the southern end of the property that we favour because it is quiet. Unfortunately, Divi seems to pretty much ignore its maintenance even though it is part of its property. The palapas are in poor shape, the grass is infringing unimpeded to where the palapas are and despite all new lounges being available on the main beach, only old, uncomfortable ones are on the south beach. We actually carried our own lounges from the main beach to our palapa every morning on the south beach. I was told a new tower was going to be built near the south beach at some unknown time in the future so they are not investing in the area. My comment is if you allow people to be there, it should be up to Divi Phoenix standards, otherwise it reflects poorly on the property. Finally, we elected (as we do every year) to dave daily full maid service, $95 for the week. However, on the first day we did not get it. We went to the front desk to complain and they said they would take care of it. However, nobody came back that day and, upon checkout, I saw we were not refunded for the day without service. Only after raising the point did we get our refund. Not how a quality establishment operates. I would have love to give our visit a 5 but these points kept me from doing it. Hopefully, next year will be issue free.

Located behind the beautiful white sand beach, this hotel is sure to make your trip to Aruba unforgettable. The vast pools refresh you from the hot sun, and the poolside drinks put that cherry on top. All the rooms have an ocean view. A 1 minute walk to the beach will have you admiring the turquise carribean sea for hours on end. The property has a large beachside property with chairs based on a first-come, first-serve basis, which was never an issue, and we were always able to find a spot below plenty of shade. A 10 minute walk to the restaurant district helps you enjoy the boardwalk as you decide what to eat. A $15 taxi or $2 bus ride to the center of the island will give you plenty to see and do. The hotel is clean and service is friendly.

My husband and I stayed at the resort 12/11-21 for the first time. Our room was 104 in the Villas...it was the best! A great location...the pool was right outside of the room and the Caribbean was just steps away from that. We used the kitchenette and outside grills quite a bit. They have all of the plates, utensils, cooking essentials, etc that you need. Housekeeping did a great job and we needed the help of the maintenance team with our tv and safe and they showed up immediately and fixed what we needed. Gabrielle at the towel desk made us feel like we knew him forever. Overall, just an amazing stay and we will definitely return!!

My boyfriend and I "panic" booked this trip very last minute because Covid is continuing to get worse. We wanted to go somewhere warm and relaxing where we could sip a cocktail on the beach, but we also wanted to go somewhere we knew would be safe (aka not Florida). Aruba obviously is being very precautious with the virus, so we booked this on a whim and found the Divi Phoenix just through google.

This was place was incredible. It was only at 1/3 of capacity, but everyone, guests and employees, were all so incredibly kind, funny, and flexible. We got to know our bartenders and servers very well, as only their beach bar restaurant was open, and they treated us like gold. (Not to mention, 2 for 1 happy hour basically all day, every day). And they had a swim-up bar, and all the pools and hot tubs were open 24 hours a day. I mean come on!

The food was surprisingly very good, and the Concierge helped book us a catamaran snorkeling trip (which was also fantastic - will write a separate review!) and the private beach that is RIGHT THERE was just to die for. Our little studio room was facing the beach and the beautiful cabanas. It was also in a prime location with just a quick walk to the other Palm Beach resorts and restaurants. We are already planning our trip back next year.

Salut, Divi Phoenix and thank you!
