We had a great time at the hotel! Rochelle was very helpful with all booking needs of tours and request. The rooms were outdated and the a/c leaked however you go on vacation to see the country/state not stay in the hotel. Prime location super...More
We stayed here for one night and I would not recommend it. Based off of the reviews we were expecting a different experience. Basically the linens and room were not that clean. Especially the bedding, which if it is not clean does not work for...More
First room they put us had problems with the bathroom and a/c. It was newly-renovated. It smelled like toxic paint. It had cockroaches. They moved us to a new room that looked like an abandoned room. Fine. Then they decided to paint the room next...More
This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. My company paid for me to stay there but I left and booked my own hotel at my own cost because it was so bad! The location isn't to bad but the hotel, rooms, zircon, bugs...More
My review is not to recap things like ( lumpy bed or worn furniture) that’s a given, based on price and star level I’m more focused on expected service regardless where you are.
Day1 - I requested French Fries at pool bar and was told...More

First off, this resort is not a resort or even a spa, it is a hotel! The bar is open on different nights. It is really loud dance music and sometimes is very crowded and sometimes it is just the regulars. Sopranos is a good live music bar and a landmark, so that is a must see. There is a Senior Frogs right around the corner, as well as another club like bar across the street. All in all, this is a great area to hang out in. Also, there are casinos in all of the hotels around that area and as long as you are playing the penny slots you can drink for free so that's a good way to start the night off. The local hot spot is called Salt and Pepper. It is just a bar but has the history and a great staff. If you bring a salt or pepper shaker with you from wherever you are from they will display it with the rest of the tourists that have brought them. The frozen Mojitos are awesome! Lastly, there is a bar that is out on the end of a pier over near the RIU resort that has live music at night and it was really fun! Aruba is VERY expensive so try and eat dinners with the early bird specials. They offer them everywhere. They have happy hour for drinks as well from 5-7 I believe. Enjoy your trip!!!! Its gorgeous!!!!

If you are a guest at the Brickell hotel there are few lounges free but in the same area you can find Marcel Sports (Saundra is the owner) where you can rent umbrella and lounges and be comfortable. At Eagle beach you can also rent but as it is a public beach without hotels on the beach I´m not sure how is the serevice there.
