Great spot in Aruba if you are looking for a quiet location. Beautiful pools. Small tiny beach to visit across the street. Rooms are nicely decorated with full kitchens. Bring your own toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, soap) as well as laundry and dishwasher detergent and it’s not provided in the suites.

We stayed on the 4th floor in a 1 bedroom. Fantastic views of sundowns. The kitchen was complete having everything you might want. There are rooms with balconies, ours didn't have one but it did have a large opening window. The bedroom was smallish with a Queen bed but it wasn't tight. The room and grounds were exceptionally clean. The pools were great, there is a small track of beach across the road. Speaking of the street in front it is not a major thoroughfare and everyone respects crosswalks. Extras included a washer dryer which was super nice. As well a pair of beach towels. Nice and quiet if that's what you're looking for. The only criticism would be the closet space borders on inadequate.
Tech stuff: the cooling is by heat pump with separate thermostat for bedroom and main area.

Our first time to Aruba and we decided to stay at Blue Residences which was a great choice. Our family really enjoyed the relaxed location away from the main strip but also a 3-minute cab ride to the strip. Only thing; we wished there was a better beach directly across from the towers. I had to walk about 15-20 minutes for a good spot on the beach (right beside the Riu). Liked the nearby supermarket as we didn't have to eat out every night. As for the condo unit, it was very nice. We stayed in the brand new Waves tower which is very nice and modern. Also liked the codes to get in the unit- no need for keys. Our unit was incredibly modern and clean. Incredible view of the sunset at night from the large balcony with walkout from the living room and master bedroom in the 2 bedroom unit. The grounds are also impeccably maintained. Highly recommend this condo for a relaxed vacation!

We spent 4 glorious days at the Blue residences and it was great. The rooms are modern with full kitchens and living rooms. I really enjoyed having a full apt, much more comfortable than staying in a standard hotel room. You have the most stunning view of the beach, words really can't describe. Beautiful pools on site, the grounds are immaculate. The hotel is located about a five minute walk to eagle beach, which does have beach rentals, restaurant and bar. However the restaurant was only open Thurs-Sun, so keep that in mind. I would reccommend renting a car, so you can get around, cabs were reasonable but a rental would have been more cost effective. Besides eagle beach, everything else is a short drive away. There is no restaurant on site, but there is a huge grocery store nearby. I would book again, great for couples or families.

Our family trip to Aruba from Boston started with exhaustion upon our arrival. We reached our accommodation by 5:30 PM, only to find our room wasn't ready, and the desk attendant couldn't provide a timeframe. With no updates from the staff, we opted for dinner and returned around 7 PM to access our room - a notification promised by the hotel was never sent. Disappointingly, room 428 was unclean, featuring dirty toilets and a strong sewer odor. Our booking was through Marriott Home Villas, but we were assigned to Blue Aruba Rentals, which was underwhelming. Our stay, from January 1 to January 8, 2024, at $1150 per night, was further marred by inadequate responses to our emails sent before arrival.

The room's conditions were less than satisfactory; it had an overwhelming sewer smell not mentioned in any description. The provided amenities, like tiny shampoo bottles and soap bars, were insufficient for our length of stay, forcing us to buy our own supplies. The room's safe malfunctioned, and despite immediate reporting to the front desk and a promise of quick service, it took over four hours and a follow-up call for someone to respond. Meanwhile, our kitchen sink was not draining and began leaking onto the floor.

The beach, contrary to the suggested convenience, was a 10-minute walk away, with no guidance or directions provided. This was a letdown, especially since Eagle Beach and Palm Beach were highlighted attractions within a short distance.

To add to the frustration, the room's information booklet was inaccurate. The gym, advertised to be open until 10 PM, was closed by 9 PM, and the pool hours were incorrect, too. There were more issues I could list, but these alone demonstrate a significant mismanagement and lack of accurate guest information. It's crucial for future guests to be aware of these concerns.

DO NOT STAY HERE. So many issues and problems. Biggest issue we were told they supply us with beach chairs and umbrellas everyday. I have in writing you call concierge 30 minutes prior to going to beach and they will set up chairs and umbrellas. Day one I called and asked for chairs and umbrellas. After an hour of waiting I called and was told they do not have chairs and umbrellas. We went down to concierge and they argued with us about ever being told that even though when I called they said yes. I had to locate the email and show them to prove them wrong. After back and forth with concierge and management we were told it’s “not safe” to be on the beach on Easter weekend as the locals are camping out and it’s not safe. I can’t even tell you how taken back I was by that statement. I’ve been going to Aruba for 27 years and never have heard that before or ever felt I was in danger or unsafe. I believe they were making excuses as to not being us chairs and umbrellas.

The place itself was just poorly made. Things were broke left and right. The A/C wasn’t working. My tv in bedroom 3 didn’t work at all and was u plugged ( took 5 days to replace) the toilet kept clogging and the plunger was broken. The dryer wasn’t working. The trim came of the laundry room door. The door was also broken.

There is no pool service. No restaurant. No bar. Nothing but a vending machine which was broken for 5 days of my 8 day trip.

Day 2 there we advised concierge that several of the machines in the gym were broken. We were told they were all working and needed to start the two treadmills but pushing it to get started. Which of course did not work.

The place was only 2/3 years old and it was just a disaster. Hot pool itself already had rough patchwork done on the bottom which was bunny and rough.

Please don’t let this place fool you. Do not stay there.

We loved our PH condo with hot-tub! Check-in/out was easy, Unit was well stocked and clean. Had plenty of dishes, cooking utensils, coffee cups etc. Beach towels, and folding beach chairs were also included. ( soccer mom chairs) Plenty of room for all of us, including 4 bathroom for 5 women!! Beautiful Ocean View with sunsets from our spacious deck.
Pool area was very nice- Not a ton of chairs around the pool, but it wasn't too busy. We were a group of 5, so a little harder to find that number. There is a restaurant on site and bar, but We never used it. Ursala was helpful in the office, and all staff we ran into were very friendly.
Elevators quick and quiet. We typically didn't even realize we were moving.
Location was between the 2 main beaches "Eagle and Palm beach" Which are both beautiful!! . A fairly easy walk to both about 15 minutes. You an also rent 2 beach chairs and a Palapa on either beach for around $35.00 a day.
We had groceries delivered so ate a leisurely breakfast each morning with a beautiful view in our Condo.
Taxis were easily arranged, and ursula can help with that too.

This is our 3rd time at the Blue Residence and we will never return. Our unit, 426 in the Aquamarine building, "Silver Treasure - 2 bedroom suite deluxe" was not fit to be rented out. When we arrived the dryer was broken, freezer didn't work, light in the kitchen was broken, shelf in the refrigerator was barely hanging on and the bed board in the master bedroom was literally peeling off. I woke up nearly every morning with little white pieces of plastic in my hair and MOUTH. They were prompt in fixing the light and had someone come look at the dryer, but couldn't fix it. They then offered to have us dry our clothing in the 2nd floor of another building. Despite the annoyance and frustration, we had no choice. We drug two loads of laundry two buildings away only to find the code to the room didn't work. How can this be luxury accomodations without the basics. This room clearly wasn't checked prior to our arrival. We also found blond hair in the shower (no one is our family is blond) and a hair tye on the bathroom floor.

This means that during Covid, not only was the room not properly checked, it was turned over quickly and not thoroughly cleaned. They offered us $80 for the inconvenience. Seriously? If you stay, don't stay in this unit for sure, but we will never return. Below is the picture of the bed board. Simply unacceptable

I chose Blue Residences as it’s affiliated with time share company I have ownership with. This was the first trip to Aruba and was a girl’s trip. One of my party had been to the island multiple times in fact this was her third time in 5 months visiting. Her first at Blue Residences. From the time we arrived we were made to feel welcome, the staff was very happy to help and went over and above what was necessary. Ursula did play a little trick on me at the beginning by telling she didn’t have my reservation….and then she was impressed with my calm reaction. I don’t know if this was a one off…but, I don’t advise it being a policy decision. We loved our views of sunsets and the pool was lovely as was the private beach. Our walks into Palm beach were a regular part of our schedule and were enjoyable. We also had rented a car and took advantage of the great restaurants in Oranjestad and explored Baby Beach. . When there was a problem with our safe, someone came to take care of it straight away. I would love to go back to Blue Residences when I visit Aruba again.

We rented 626. When we arrived the door lock was broken bc the frame had rotted out. The door would not shut! With wind in Aruba it was completely open. I had to use corona boxes to try to jam it shut.

We wasted our first day waiting around to fix or move. I had to demand to be moved. It was not as nice as the one we were in. I expected some discount. I had to go ask every day. On the last day they only gave $200 refund. Unacceptable!

The other unit had a water leak in the fridge spraying water on our food and leaking on floor. They gave us extra towels to catch the leak. Really?

So bottom line know this is not a hotel. Getting stuff fixed is a problem.

Most of the units have. Once booking you can ask on the unit that you like, if it has or request for a room with a safe.

It’s not very far from Blue Residences but it is not an easy walk. Very rocky and no proper sidewalk. I wouldn’t recommend walking.
