Very comfortable, clean facility. Great location with walk-able access to Front Street and the pier. Good restaurants nearby. Knowledgeable, friendly, efficient and helpful staff. Would recommend for short or longer stays.
Clean, great service, warm and wonderfull owner Ann Smith. This is central in the city of Hamilton to the waterfront, Government buildings and attractions. The only place I would stay (22 Stays from 1995 to 2019)
Lovely B & B very centrally located and only a few blocks from Front Street. My husband and I were embarking on a Viking cruise and needed a room for one night and this place is a gem! I requested a ground floor room as there is no elevator and was accommodated in a lovely, newly remodeled room with a side outdoor access which takes you thru a lovely little garden. Rachel greeted us with professionalism and was extremely courteous and on the spot for our requests. Upon check-in, she prearranged our departure taxi and took our order for breakfast the following morning which she promptly delivered. It was a very fresh breakfast of perfectly boiled eggs, juice, coffee, fruit, yogurt and pastries. There are other selections as well. There is ample outdoor seating areas for relaxing or dining. The room was very comfortable and has everything you need. Great WiFi, cold AC, fully stocked kitchen, beautiful marble bathroom with essential amenities, comfy beds and a sitting area. If you are arriving from another country, you are required to take a COVID test at the airport and quarantine at your hotel until you receive the results (ours arrived by email within 7 hours). As there is no restaurant at this B & B, there is sign in the room directing you to download the Sargasso Sea app which we did and ordered a delicious Italian meal and a bottle of wine from a well known restaurant and it arrived within 30 minutes. We dined outdoors in the lovely garden. Our stay was Perfect!!!…
First greeted by a grouchy old lady (owner), this place feels like your grandmothers old house. It is very small (only 2 floors with about 8 rooms in total). Everything is outdated, the taps produce brown water, the breakfast is extremely limited options (dry croissants/1 danish), and the owner was rude from the minute we got there. The maids were great though.
After a series of unresolvable glitches at our existing accommodations, we needed a more comfortable place to stay. My husband and I showed up at Oxford House desperate and without reservations. They got us into a room, helped us get settled, got our vacation back on track. The staff is unfailingly responsive and on top of things. The rooms are comfortable, clean, attractive. Continental breakfast inclues yogurt, cereal, hard boiled eggs, ham, juice, muffins, toast. Property is within easy walking distance of the popular Front Street area, as well as the bus station (which we used to explore the rest of the island). Will definitely stay at Oxford House for our next Bermuda trip!
