A lovely, friendly guesthouse, close by to all facilities and amenitiesA wonderful setting on the beautiful island of Bermuda. Wonderful for solo travellers or with friends. As a guesthouse you are made to feel comfortable and very welcome An idyllic place, quiet away from the resort type places-and close by to the lovely beaches and eateries. Found it authentic, peaceful, though with extremely pleasant surroundings. There are kitchenette facilities in each room.

My 14 year old daughter and I stayed here for 11 nights in August 2018. Our studio apartment contained a comfortable double bed and a sofa bed which was really a single bed. The kitchen was well equipped. The room was cleaned and serviced every day with bed linen and towels changed every other day. The owner was friendly and even did some washing for us part way through our stay. We were close to a bus stop and had a cafe (The Pit Stop) on site with The Swizzle Inn less than 5 minutes walk away. The garage across the road had a hot buffet service and a basic convenience store and so we had plenty of choices for food nearby without needing to cook! The bonus was the the beach across the road which was idyllic and we often had it completely to ourselves (the beauty of horse shoe bay without the crowds!). The place is not for those who want the sterile environment of a 4 star hotel but we felt welcomed and as though we were supporting local enterprise. There is also a pool. The only downside was that our room did not have WiFi - although we only needed to go and sit outside to get it. I would recommend this guesthouse to anyone who wants to be part of Bermuda for their stay.

We stayed for two nites, its on the main south road with bus stop outside and gas station that sells most items and cooked meals from 7am-11pm. Owner was helpful. The room we had the windows were bolted shut which would have been nice for breezes as I dont like using AC all the time. Otherwise good stay with convenience of gas station across selling everything and bus stop outside.

For our last trip to the Blue Horizon Guest house, Brenda went above and beyond to make our 10 days the best they could be. Always busy, she had time to spend with us, I feel like she's a sister at this point. The apartment was always kept clean, rooms, beds, linens always spotless. Brenda is a hard working and most caring individual I have had the pleasure of visiting frequently. Already planning for the next one..... Miss you Brenda, hope all is well ❤️
