This property is conveniently located in the middle of Bermuda, on the south road, with a lovely beach aspect. The staff were most gracious and helpful at all times. Our room and bed were quite comfortable with an idyllic ocean view. The meals we had here (breakfast and dinner) were very good and fairly priced … better value than some other places here. Our overall value was not as good as I would have liked; we booked a package through an airline and upon reflection it was overall quite expensive, with not much included, which I suspect was the airline’s doing.

My husband, our 2 year old, and I spent the day at Cocoreef on a day pass! It was absolutely perfect. Booking the day pass was a simple email, checkin was simple and informational. The beach was clean, empty, and stunning. We spent most of the day on the beach. Our pass included a delicious 3 course lunch. After lunch, our toddler played in the shallow fountain area of the pool and had a blast. Closed out the day back at the beach. I cannot speak to quality of rooms, etc but all staff we encountered were helpful and attentive. The lobby and bathrooms were large, clean, and impressive.

I had an amazing stay at coco reef! I will be back. From check in to meals ,everyone was friendly and helpful. If you can get an oceanfront unit on the second floor for beautiful views it will be priceless. Taxi service available and the bus is a short walk for a more economical way to travel. There is a grocery store within walking distance. The beach is beautiful and steps away with the resort location. I love to walk the beach every morning so I was in my happy place.

We booked our stay at the Coco Reef for July 24th to July 30th. Let me start with the positives. The View. That's it. The rooms are extremely outdated. It appeared that the furniture in our room was original from 1980 when the resort was built. Dresser draws were permanently stuck and could not be open. Trash from the night before was still littered around the pool each morning. The food menu was limited and extremely pricey. Mildew was in our shower not to mention on the outside of our room. Most of the staff was friendly, except for one woman who worked the front desk. The stairs leading to the beach were rotted through and were eventually closed for pedestrian foot traffic during our stay. It appears the owner of this resort has decided to stop maintaining the

The decor is so dated it is embarrassing. The decor is solely the owner's taste, the artwork and statues (which are throughout the resort) were a topic at the bar most nights with other guests. Coco Reef does not have a resort feel at all. It has a very, very limited bar/restaurant menu -- "All Day Menu". Bermuda is surrounded by water-- it was surprising there were no fish specials AT ALL. There were bugs in our bathtub every single morning. No screen door on the sliding glass door-- couldn't hear the ocean on a beach side room. The pool is not chlorinated or cleaned as it should be. The stairs/walkway to the beach is a lawsuit waiting to happen-- boards broken and cracked. The handrails were ropes --- safety was a major concern. The staff/housekeeping and

Staff is wonderful. The property has beautiful views but the property itself needs a great deal of maintenance and updates. Stairs to the beach broken. AC didn’t work in the room, wires hanging on some of the patios. Rooms terribly outdated. The list goes on. The reasturant wasn't open when they said it would be. Overall the place could be nice but it’s like the owner has forgotten about it. The staff and the views are the only thing going for this place.

Checked into Coco Reef, and the property is beautiful, and the rooms are very nice. However: restaurant and bar closed, not even open for breakfast. Pool is empty. Phones in room does not work. Front desk & lobby close at 6:00PM. TV needs a tech to operate, or at least put instructions with remotes. Wifi spotty, had to jiggle wires and reset box to function. Running with skeleton crew staff. Hotel manager went on holiday when they closed in February, and did not return for re-opening. Basically the property was NOT ready to reopen when they did.

This hotel would have received a 5-star review for location alone but for a few major issues. We chose Coco Reef because of (and loved) the location - it's in an absolutely wonderful spot and we weren't expecting the Ritz from a 3-star hotel. We were anticipating a clean and comfortable place to stay on the beach, and... almost got there. One star deducted from the review from each of the following: First: our room was infested with cockroaches. Not the large flying tropical kind one would expect to see, but the small scatter-when-you-turn-on-the-light (or, in this case: don't scatter) kind. We killed at least a dozen in a single night and they were everywhere; in the drawers, in the ice bucket, inside the refrigerator door, coming from under the baseboards. It was

Yes, we would go back to stay here, however a few points of awareness. Pros: - next to the best beach on the island. - amazing view of the ocean plus sunrise from the room. - delicious food at their restaurant open Thurs-Sun (B, L, D) - wait staff, cleaning ladies, property workers were very polite. - property gardens seemed well cared for, with beautiful flowers - air conditioning worked great. - great place to wash off sand next to beach by bldg 1 and shower by the pool. - good bathroom water pressure. - beach umbrellas and pool umbrellas - nice chairs on room balcony Cons: - restaurant/bar hours/menu are not posted anywhere in the main building. Even the staff was not aware of the hours. - our room did not have a smoke detector - the beach was not raked from seaweed all

My husband I just returned home from Bermuda and stayed at Coco Reefs. This was our 4th time staying at this hotel - the first time was many years ago when it was the Stonington. We like Coco Reefs for the PROS below, but this property has declined over the years and lacks attention. PROS: The location is ideal as it's situated on a south side beach (albeit a small beach), the views are beautiful, and the staff is wonderful. CONS: The beach chairs are DIRTY and need to be cleaned or replaced. Some of the beach chairs were ripped upon on our arrival and weren't removed until we complained. One of the loveseat cushions in our room had several large rips in the fabric. Our duvet had a hole in it. The dresser was wobbly and two of the drawers didn't work (one wouldn't open,
