Not live music. There is recorded background music around the pool and in the general seating areas with tables (patios). Its not loud at all. One can happily have a conversation. Rooms are soundproof so you won't be hearing it while inside. Music is quite contemporary - stuff you would hear on the radio. Some local Caribbean songs as well.
