Dove with Captain Dons for 15 boat dive trips over 8 days. Overall - very professional and organized operation. The BOATS are exceptional. Only reason why not a 5 star rating was that the boat size does allow a number of divers to go on each dive. Can be crowded on full boats. The staff - what can I say... More

Really enjoyed our time here. One could not ask for a more convenient diving experience. The reef is 75’ or so off shore and one can just strap on a tank any time they desire and go dive. The tanks are always staged down by the pier and the lockers are also right there. We did a boat dive but... More

My wife and I recently travelled to Bonaire for the first time, and elected to stay at Don's for a full week. We are both certified scuba divers, but will typically only dive one or two days on a week-long trip for most of our island destinations. We are definitely NOT "hard core" divers, but just enjoy that as one... More

It was my first time staying here. Our dive group was well cared for and the food is excellent! The rooms are nice and plenty of space for drying wet gear. Our room did not have a tub, but soaking our gear was easy in the big tubs down by the lockers. I would stay here every time I come.

I went to Captain Don's Habitat with a group of 33 other divers so we stayed in a variety of cabins and condo units. No one complained about their accommodations. I certainly enjoyed the three person cabin with full kitchen, sitting room, great porch, and two bedrooms each with its own full bathroom. The daily breakfast buffet was always ready... More

First time to Bonaire, I thought the diving was wonderful! Very clear and warm water, healthy reefs and easy diving. I will definitely go back to dive on Bonaire again. But I will never stay at this resort again. I was cautioned at the dive briefing to address issues while I was there and not to leave bad review on... More

Poor service. Food good, but restaurant service was mostly awful. Front desk seemed not to care. Dive operation was okay, but tanks were not full, had to check your own tanks, many were mostly empty as you got ready to leave the dock (extremely dangerous with no replacement options), boat was way overfilled with more than twenty divers, unfortunately will... Bonaire undersea is something wonderful to see. I haven't stayed at such a poor facility for which I paid so much, in some time. Room baby in need of updating and cleaning. Bed extremely uncomfortable . Pillows stained. Persistent sewer smell in bathroom. Clock didn't even work... I could go on. Restaurant meals took foooorever to be served and quality... More

For my second trip to Bonaire I decided to stay at Captain Don's. They have a great package deal for room, breakfast, rental truck, 10 boat dives and unlimited shore diving. The reef dive from the pier can accommodate all levels of divers. The deluxe junior suites which overlook the water with a view of Klein Bonaire is the best... More

There is a bunch of great places to stay in Bonaire if you are a diver. What sets Capt Don's apart is the friendly service and attention to detail. Clean tidy ocean view rooms, and a great pool. A good size locker area for storing your dive gear The restaurant on site, Rumrunner has a decent menu, its not cheap,... More
