Eden Beach Resort Bonaire is lauded for its prime location, perfect for underwater adventures like snorkeling and scuba diving, catering to a diverse range of guests. Visitors often celebrate the resort's inviting atmosphere and spotless cleanliness. While the rooms are spacious and well-furnished, some guests have experienced booking hiccups. The resort's amenities, including the scenic beach and family-friendly pool, receive high marks, though there's a suggestion of potential enhancements. The staff's friendly and efficient service is frequently commended, as is the resort's value, with affordable access to beachside relaxation and dining options.

A quick taxi ride from the curise terminal took us to Eden beach resort. For a mere $5 fee per person, we had access to beach area, lounge chairs, change rooms and the resort's pool. Snorkel sets were availble to rent, although did not include fins - oddly.
There is no sand beach to allow easy water entry. Instead, there is a dock with a ladder that makes entry quick and easy. The water is crystal clear and the variety and size of fish was tremendous. The only hazard, besides the current, was the regular arrival of the water taxi that would take you to the island across the bay which did have sand beaches. If snorkelling is your goal, you will find everything you need right there without the additional cost to cruise to the island.
Our beach/snorkel day was the highlight of the 10-day cruise.

My wife and I were recommended to stay here cause the 2 big US dive resorts were full, it turned out great ,, we had a nice efficiency on the ground floor , and we dove with Wanna Dive , in house dive shop who go boat dive 2 X a day, morning and afternoon.Dive masters did a really great job. They have unlimited shore diving ..But no house reef to dive off of dock ! There is a real layed back vib here which was nice.. Nice beach with chairs ( but they do rent space to the cruise ship people ) we had no problem gettin a seat. I would return here !!

Eden Beach Resort is a great place to stay. We did not do all inclusive because we wanted to check out other restaurants. The food at Eden Beach we found to be excellent. We had breakfast every morning there. They will make you an omelette, they have lots of fresh fruit and juices, lots of different coffees and teas. We sometimes st St the bar and had a beautiful evening having supper by the water.

There are different options for rooms. We just got a basic room as we only sleep there and shower. The bed was a king and very comfortable and the shower was great!

The snorkeling is amazing right at the wharf. The fish are beautiful and the water is so clear.

Do bring bug spray. I got a few mosquito bites, they didn’t bother my husband at all, they never do. They love me. I sprayed my legs when sitting at the bar in the evening and zi was fine.

It costs $10 US to go to town and the same to go back.

We arranged for a taxi to take us to “It Rains Fishes” you should make a reservation the day before you go. Great food. We also went to restaurants on either side of Eden Beach, which were great. Breezes we made reservation had a table overlooking the water, awesome.

We also hired a taxi that we booked through the tour booth at the resort. He took us on a tour around the island, which was great. We even went to the distillery and tried some of their drinks. So good.

We took a direct 5 hr flight from Toronto Canada on Sunwing, which was excellent. I downloaded Netflix movies on my phone and brought my own headphones. They only show old reruns of TV shows.

We loved Bonaire, it’s not a party place. Lots of people in there 50s, 60s, 70s. at our resort. people who like to snorkel and scuba dive.

We’ve travelled a lot and haven’t seen beautiful fish like this for a long time.

We had high hopes for this place, but it started out bad, and didn’t get much better. They ‘upsold’ a different studio at check in, better view, etc. but we were concerned about the constant construction noise from next door (very Loud large equipment) they told us, no problems, the workers stop early and do not work weekends- unfortunately not true. Also the beach area and pool would be peaceful except for the ‘cruisers’ that come in droves for day trips. The resort charges a day rate for them to come use the pool, beach chairs and ride the water taxi, all of this makes it very crowded and difficult for the residents that have actually paid a lot of money to stay here! The bartenders seem to be jaded and could care less. We gave up trying to get service after the first night and went elsewhere for our drinks/dinners - so much better service right down the road at Breeze ‘n Bites.
It’s a decent location, and the cleaners are great, very friendly and helpful, just cannot recommend for the other reasons.

We didn't stay at the Eden Beach Resort, but we might consider doing so if we ever return to Bonaire. We were told that it had a nice pier where we could enter the water to do some snorkeling in very calm water, and this was truly the case. Also, for $5 a person, we were able to rent a lounge chair in the shade for the day. What could be better! Everyone was so nice and helpful, and we had a great afternoon!

Great place within walking distance to ship port. Snorkeled off hotel frontage. Not crowed, lots of shade, restaurant and bar, snorkeling gear rentals available and helpful WannaDive Bonaire snorkel shop. For self guided ship stop, this was perfect. Taxi to Eden was $15, but walked back to shop easily as it is only 20 minute walk along the beautiful brick sidewalk along the waterfront from the cruise port.

Caribbean gem located on the sea side with excellent accommodations, layout and service. Minutes away from city center and marina. Pristine clear waters makes it even easier to admire the exotic surroundings of tropical fish and corals. Pool on-site, along with a small one for kids to enjoy the sun. On-site beach bar, restaurant offering fresh caught fish like Grouper, Red Snapper, Mahi-Mahi. Daily yoga classes will keep you in shape. Last but not least must commend the acting GM Denny, extending the courtesy of his attentive presence and direct involvement in routine service, made our stay more memorable. From the staff we would like to extend our gratitude for a great service from Camelio bartender/server. His smile and courtesy are great way the new management to make this place desirable destination for all families.
Thank guys and best of luck.

Look no further than Eden beach resort for a perfect day trip from your cruise port. 10 minute taxi for $15 each way. Danny and staff were great. Food and drink were reasonably priced and delicious ($20 for 6 beers in an ice cold bucket). We were fortunate enough to secure a cabana for $20 that included pool, bathrooms, and Wi-Fi. The snorkeling is amazing! Steps from the resort is a beautiful reef with tons of fish and coral. Not your typical Caribbean beach, but it is so worth it! My 5 year old son and I rented snorkel gear and stayed in the water all day! Mask and snorkel for $6 for the day. Can’t wait to come back. Thanks!

We caught a taxi from the cruise ship port. They charged us $10 each for a chair and use of the pool and bathrooms.
The beach is rocks but you can walk right in and snorkel and we saw a lot of fish right near shore.
If you like to snorkel but don't want to do it in the middle of the ocean this place is a great choice.

We like many have to book out of our accommodation at 10 on our last day and the flight was not till 9 at night.
We were delighted to find that Eden Beach allowed us to purchase a day pass where you can leave your luggage locked and for us take our snorkelling kit to a Cabana. Using the Cabana as a base during the day we had delicious cocktails, a freshly made meal and also 3 good snorkels along the edge in both directions. We saw a wide array of beautiful fish and a few crabs scuttling away and during the last snorkel several Drums who come out later in the day
The view was fantastic and peaceful out across to Klein Bonaire.
A Big thank you to Eden Beach.
When we were finished and it was time to go we had a shower and changed into our travelling clothes and packed a last few bits ready to set off on a long journey back to the UK. We will be back to Bonaire and will be heading back to Eden Beach again on our last day - a fantastic way to add an extra day to our holiday.
Many thanks Susie and Andy

PS: The wall doesn't block your view at all when you're on the beach. It's a retaining wall, so it's a little drop off from the beach. Hope that makes sense. :-)

We arrived via taxi, and were greeted by an employee who told us to pick a chair and that the bartenders would come around and collect $10 per chair. This was for the day and included access to the beach, dock, barside pool and bathrooms. Water sports, drinks, and food were an additional fee.
