Whilst full blown luxury isn't BonaireFUN's market, this place certainly hits the spot for the divers market. The apartments are secure, practical, clean and run by a friendly team. We stayed for 10 nights and enjoyed being in a more residential part of town. The...More

Hi! My brother and I have booked rooms for April 11-18. How should we go about scheduling scuba diving? Do they pick up and drop off?

They are associated with a dive shop, Wannadive. They have several sites on the island, the biggest one is down the road from Bonaire Fun and you get a nice discount. There is a locked dive are on the side of Bonaire Fun where you can wash and store gear, Wannadive will drop off tanks there once you have signed up with them. They are very reasonable - we found a cheaper place but there were a ton of issues that made it not workable. You should rent a car - the people at BonaireFun got us a single cab truck which is the perfect size for 2 divers. If you haven't been to Bonaire, you need to realize that a truck is important! Then you can drive to the store (eating out is expensive, all food is expensive on the island) to cut costs. Just a warning, when you first walk in BonaireFun, you think 'gee, this is small'. Actually, it is the perfect size once you get settled in! We hope to go back soon!
